It's more of a party than a show so makes sense. Plus, it's a Friday so most people don't work the morning after.

I wanna piggyback on this, I really hope they do something here this fall; I've been listening to them so much lately. I have no desire to pay that much for just them. But it seems like it'll be a great tour for them to get their name out more, so that rules

Did you go to their last tour? The NYC date was really strange... Hot Mulligan started at 5:30, Seaway was done at 10 pm. And there were more people there for Hot Mulligan than Seaway, and like 70% of the room left after Microwave's set. That tour was absolutely stacked

 

Yeah I'm in the same boat. Never been huge on One Ok Rock and Waterparks is ok musically, but I can't stand the younger memey crowd they draw or Awsten's character he puts on. But again like you said, the tour will be big for them. I don't really know if it would draw that well but I'd really dig a Trash Boat/Stand Atlantic co-headliner with support from Belmont and Eat Your Heart Out.

 

Anyone know if Emarosa has any touring plans? I’m really digging that new album.

I’m confused though. Why are the SD and Pomona dates only NOW going on sale? Those dates have been announced go a while now

Apparently they were told they were headliners and then they went and got Parkway as headliners behind their backs.

 

I mean, I see the similarities but I disagree. Agreed upon placement on a bill is a lot different from font size. Especially when it's something like going from closing the festival to not.

 

I had a friend that saw them in LA tell me they plan on playing Peach Club in full on their next tour. Don't have an exact time frame but they do have a festival in Michigan in June.

 

Anyone think we could get a I See Stars 3D 10 Year Tour sometime this year?

The Architects thing is pretty far from the Bad Omens thing. Architects were told they were headlining and got the rug pulled out from under them, plus I think there's a more substantial financial aspect that we're not privy to.

 

what festival is in MI in June?

I highly doubt it but I may actually cry if this happened. I don’t know why they’d go from intentionally not playing any songs from that album to playing every song from it. If anything, maybe a 10 year as a touring band celebration where they open up the set to have more older songs? But idk, I just want a tour at all.

 

If it is it won't be US. ABR doesn't even finish their current tour until the start of March.

Edit: Plus Friday seems like a weird day for a tour announcement. Probably an album announcement/single.

 

Yeah not the same thing at all. Festival is different than a whole tour. There's more to this than the Font on the flier and more has to do with financials than anything.
