new again is very good

 

I mean, New Again is almost 10 years old. I would hope time and perspective made them more accepting of the album and maybe allowed them to warm up to at least a couple songs on it.

 

Again, I’m inpatient and just want those 20 year east coast dates.

 

They said February. Rumor is either tomorrow as a valentine’s gift or on Tuesday next week

New Again is a p good album.


Still their weakest album in a p good lineup of albums but being the lowest ranked of a great discography isn’t a bad thing

 

It’s so far from their weakest album imo. Second behind WYWTB for me.

 

Honestly in terms of this band I don’t feel there’s a wrong answer. New Again is at the bottom of the list for me BUT it’s still an album I love and love to spin, so I guess ranking them is kind of moot lol

 

Tidal Wave, Happiness Is and WYWTB are all wrong answers for weakest TBS album.

 

I mean I of course agree with you. But their discography is so solid it could be any order really

 

Oh I know, trust me. That's how I get away with saying Louder Now and TAYF are the two worst TBS album and not have to sleep with one eye open.

when we say weakest album what are we talking about specifically?

 

imo self titled is the easy choice for weakest in terms of return playability and memorable songs for me. it also is down with new again with how few tracks are played from it in the live show.

 

Personally when I say it, I'm just talking about my least favorite lol

 

That's a shame for real.

Imagine if Best Places, Call Me in the Morning, Swing and Everything Must Go were staples?

 

We can rank these albums 400 times and ways and I will never not put s/t last

 

Man the way the lead guitar cuts through everything on swing is one of my favorite TBS moments

 

I think the S/T is probably least impressive overall compared to New Again and TAYF, but what sways me personally is having some of their best tracks on there. El Paso, Best Place to Be Mommy, Call me in the Morning. And I dig Sad Savior quite a bit.
