Hopeful for Poe's story more than any other side character. Great actor, and he felt integral to TFW.

 

In regard to the music, i have loved the last 2 soundtracks so i’m not necessarily looking for JW to bring any old music back but the very subtle incorporation of original trilogy pieces into new work has been great thus far, so as long as that keeps up, i’m game. not worried at all about the score because i’m always confident JW will kill it.

 

Agreed. Aside from the saga films being done for awhile and presumably being the end of the Skywalker Saga and last time we see a handful of characters, its even more bittersweet to go into Episode 9 knowing its going to be the GOATs last Star Wars ever.

 

Oh, Snowspeeder Theme for sure. That will always be my favorite. Very partial to Han & Leia and Rey's Themes too.

 

Well Reys theme is a must. Han and Leias I doubt since we got in in TLJ. But well defintiely get Leias theme.

This section is probably my favorite part of the score in TLJ. The classic Falcon theme tied perfectly into reys theme, then the TIE Fighter attack theme in there. Such a perfectly orchestrated scene. Im hoping he incorporates the theme right after Kylo says "Blow that piece of junk out of the sky!" into 9.

 

If 9 doesn't have a Falcon chase scene I'll riot in the theater.

 

For some reason I can see the falcon being destroyed in this movie.

 

I can’t. That ships makes them way too much money to destroy it.

Sad to say the latest rumor is that Rian has decided not to do his set of SW films anymore. It’s all over twitter as rumors so we’ll see I guess

I wonder how personally he took the last jedi backlash.....would hate for that to have played a part in his decision if the rumor is true, but i wouldnt be shocked if that was a factor.

 

Man, that would be a real bummer.

Honestly, it’s such a bummer if it’s true. Demoralizing... usually this kinda news gets dumped on like Friday evenings
