Finished Leon A on hardcore the other day. I had literally 18 handgun bullets for the final boss, luckily that one relies more on avoiding for 3 or 4 minutes than dealing any damage

 

Holy shit, I actually just managed to complete 4th Survivor on my 2nd try, with a time of 12:30! Was one hit away from dying but fuck it! Not even going to attempt Tofu lol

 

I really want to play the tofu variation where you just have a fuck ton of fire rounds and a flame thrower, but I don't think I'll be able to beat the OG Tofu (knives only) run.

 

beat claire's b scenario yesterday and then started leons. i need to stop drinking while i play cause i still got a C ranking

 

My favorite ritual these past two weeks was having a beer on Friday night with all the lights off, and this game.

Same too lmao, I need a slight buzz on to be able to progress at a decent speed and not hide around corners scared to get into fights with anything more than one singular zombie lol

 

Stuck on Clare A Hardcore final boss with only the minigun, 1 nade, 7 needle shots, and pistol. I went throug the first three first of course, then shot him a million times with the pistol before dying with around 1:30 left on the timer...fuuuuck

 

Anyone else excited about the DLC tomorrow?

I’ve kind of exhausted myself of all the Leon and Claire stuff now that I’ve beaten it like 9 times.

 

I find every boss fight in this game to be unenjoyable. Probably my biggest gripe. It basically becomes a game to see how well you can manage the camera at those points.

 

Damn, really? I love every boss fight. They really feel like classic RE with the constant evasion and stopping to line up a shot, especially when you're low on ammo.

 

Beat him! I needed to be better about only shooting at eyeballs haha.

 

The free DLC is out now, anyone played yet?

 

I tried one last night. It's basically more 4th survivor modes with new variants of zombies. Pretty good if you're into those gametypes.

 

Oh god these new zombies are gross haha

 

A bit disappointing. But it’s free stuff, so whatever. I thought mercenaries on RE4 was more enjoyable.

 

I love love love Code Veronica outside of that bullshit fight on the plane

 

Really do not enjoy the 4th Survivor/Ghost Survivors challenge runs. Just stressful. I hope they release some story driven DLC

 

They are not fun at all. It’s like if one zombie touches you, you have like 20 on top of you immediately and you’re fucked and have to start over.

 

I just played through all the Ghost Survivors with cheats on just because I wanted to see how they played out, and the unlockable Ghost Survivor seems impossible. Even with cheats on I struggled. Some people are too good at games

 

Resident Evil 2 on PS1 is my favorite game ever. I think I gotta go get the XB1 outta storage and get this.

 

Resident Evil 4 was the first RE I played so it was interesting going backwards. I did beat the first Resident Evil but do you have advice for someone who has never even tried to get past the first two screens in the original RE 2 lol

I downloaded RE2 on to my XB1X Friday and sadly havent even gotten to play it yet. Hopefully this weekend.

 

Put this and RE4 on my steam wishlist, will wait for sale but excited it's doing so well.
