I'm both amused and appalled by the live chat on the PBS stream.

 

Imagine thinking threating the richest man in the world, in writing, who owns one of the two biggest newspapers in the United States, and who has a lot of good will built up with everyday Americans because of the amount of convienence his business has brought a bunch of people....was a good idea.

 

The story was already posted and it’s about how Trumps bedmknster golf club was basically run on illegal immigrant labor, but I just can never get enough of this gif.

 

I'm so tired of all the "gotcha" pieces on Trump these days. "Oh you're anti immigrant but your businesses hired immigrants? Oh you invite a bullied kid to the SOTU but you bully people online? Wow lol we caught you Trump"

Does Bezos have a lot of good will built up?...People like Amazon, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything pointing to Bezos himself being popular in the way someone like Bill Gates or Elon Musk is

Yup...I mean I appreciate the hard journalism that someone like Fahrenthold does but at this point the stories aren’t going to cause him to resign so I’m very meh.

What I’m hoping it does do is that each story shaved off a few voters at a time. You’re not changing millions of minds from voting for him but if a couple thousand people here and a couple thousand people there decide he’s a hypocrite on his big issues and decide not to vote next time out...that’s what I’ll hope for haha
