Curry threw his mouth guard and hit a fan sitting court side. Kerr complained about the refs in his post game press conference.

 

Curry threw his mouthpiece in frustration after fouling out and it hit a fan. He apologized to the fan right after it happened.

And then Kerr complained about officiating after the game.

 

lol that seems harsh.

 

They both absolutely deserve fines

 

that fan who got hit by the mouthguard should get an oscar

 

It seems weird that the fines are the same though. Criticizing referees = yelling and cussing at referee + throwing a mouthpiece that hit a fan?

 

Maybe I missed it, but the fan didn't seem to have much of a reaction and accepted Curry's apology right away.

 

Yeah I have no clue how they landed on those numbers. But Curry has a pretty clean history so I'm sure that helped keep the figure lower.

 

not taking a dig at anyone, just kinda funny how he flailed when he got hit by it.

 

It would've been perfect if it actually hit Gilbert's son. That's how the curse would've been broken.

 

one thing i saw this morning that i missed yesterday, is that after the fan puts the mouthguard on the scorer's table, a woman in the first row tries to grab it and someone at the table grabs her arm and shakes his head, reacting like it's the most prized possession in the world haha.

 

Just looks like a completely normal reaction to having something hit you unexpectedly to me

 

I think it's just the standard minimum fine.

 

Also not sure if mentioned, but apparently the fan was the son of a minority owner (not gilbert)

I thought it was a good game. The Warriors can cut a lead so fast it's ridiculous. I think both teams deserve the win so I can go either way. But I like how Lebron does post game interviews.

 

Sunday night is going to be so much fun. I'm not even a Cavs fan, but I'll probably shed a tear or two if LeBron is holding up that trophy for Cleveland.

I'll probably break a household item or two if it's the opposite result.

 

I'll actually be pretty disappointed if GS wins. normally I like watching the team because of how good they are, but I'm getting tired of all this bullshit about the games being fixed if they lose or that LeBron is the worst person for no reason at all. up until the past week I didn't really care who won. just give the man some damned respect for being arguably the greatest player to play the game.

 

Simmons podcast with butler is really good. Also he drops he heard what Draymond said to Lebron and it wasn't "b*tch"

 

He doesn't seem like a fun guy to interview, hopefully they bring the YouTube channel back with videos at some point

 

I'm actually getting a bit concerned with the way players have been treating referees. It's getting a bit euro/Latin soccer like where they get right up to them and intimidate. There's needs to be more respect shown. Regardless of not if they've been terrible lately. You won't have refs if they're too scared to start, cause this filters down to teens playing and harassing in their games
