Going to be a real battle between Anthem, Destiny 2, and The Division 2. Within a month, Anthem is launching (2/22), Destiny 2 has a new season/DLC dropping (3/12) and The Division 2 is launching (3/15).

loved titanfall but i can't get into BR games.. might give this a shot

I posted that too and I'm surprised this isn't the biggest news story right now. Like Apex is just another BR game, big whoop. This is legitimately game changing.

 

I love me some BR so I'm in for this. I do wish there was a solo option as it may be hard to always have a squad of 3 and playing with randoms sucks sometimes.

 

And Battlefield V's BR mode is in March.

 

I'd buy a Switch if I could log in with my Xbox profile and earn achievements on the go.

 

it could be gamechanging but right now it’s a way to maybe earn Minecraft achievements on your Switch and phone. great in theory but requires a lot of people to be willing to play ball to become more than that and i’m failing to see the incentive for anyone but Microsoft atm

edit: looking into it, it looks like it will allow devs to incorporate Xbox achievements into non-first party titles? still don’t get the logistics. at the end of the day i feel Nintendo needs to state their stance on it before i get excited

 

I refuse to play competitive online multiplayer games with randoms

 

did the developers not play fortnite and how half the randomness would not group at all

 

I’m all over this Apex Legends game... literally just started playing Titanfall 2 again a week ago lol this is crazy!!

I feel like people are misunderstanding the Xbox Live news a little. It’s cool but not exactly crazy.

I’m pretty sure Nintendo isn’t a fan of Sony, and I don’t think they see Microsoft as a very direct competitor (or not as much as Sony at least), so there’s some incentive, but yeah if this leads to anything it’ll take a long time, especially when a conservative company like Nintendo is involved
