Star Fox? 64 was the only one I really enjoyed and it didn’t have much replayability for such a short game.

I do agree Star Fox is a strange and generally overrated franchise. I think some of the stranger DS and spin-off games are better than the main entries.

I remember loving Kid Icarus when I was young but they don't hold up that well and that 3ds one was the most uncomfortable playing experience ever so extra minus points lol

Disgaea 5 for sure but it’s a grindy game so make sure it’s up your alley

They are extremely weeb so just be cautious. Maybe watch some cutscenes and gameplay first.

Tangledeep took some pointers from Disgaea. It also has an item world that makes weapons stronger.

Does anyone have any good non-Nintendo pro controller recommendations? Ours is drifting like crazy and we were thinking of maybe getting two maybe, one for like smash where it’ll take more of a beating, and one for non-competitive games, since the pro controller just feels nicer haha

Nah. Pro is the best unfortunately haha. I mean, you could get the wireless GameCube controllers because they work with all Switch games. They just don't have rumble or Amiibo support.

i used a PS4 controller to play Towerfall on Switch a couple of weeks ago via a dongle that is made by 8Bitdo, i believe? regardless i may just invest in a couple of those since i already have a few PS4 controllers

Those do work yes. You can probably also pair a WiiU pro controller etc. then?

hey what do you know, nintendo actually sent me the piranha plant email yesterday. idk if they just resent it or if they never sent it in the first place but all that matters is that i have piranha plant who is awesome.

also went ahead and picked up disagea 5, i played a little bit of it when i first got my switch and i really enjoyed what i played so this was the perfect opportunity to actually get it.

Curious, has anyone come so close to capacity on their Switch where they didn't have enough room for save data? Or is the console smart enough to not let you download a game if you don't have room for save data?

Just wondering because Pokemon is 4.2 GB and I found that the stuff I'd want to archive for it total to 4.3 GB lol. Finally ordered a 128GB card but I'm a bit impatient and figure I can just download my archived stuff to it when it comes

Also, crazy good deals on Amazon for microSD right now. Got a SanDisk U3 A2 128 GB microSD with up to 160mbps read speeds for only $26, marked down from $68.99

i really wanna play some Metroid games again, but i can't find my GBA and have no idea where my old copy of Metroid Fusion might have gone. what are the chances i'll be able to buy another for a reasonable NOT $100+ price tag...

Well, it seems you can get a GBA on eBay for $40 and the game for anywhere between $5 and $27 from a quick peek. Could always just get a ROM on your PC or if you have an Android device ;)
