One time, I was at Denny's with some friends, and we left cash at the table for our bill, then we bolted out like a dine and dash. Questionable, yet funny behavior that I may someday repeat as an adult.

Their breakfast and club sandwiches are good. Not my first choice, but good.

 

If you get the right cook, Denny's has some ballin ass pancakes

 

I used to hate on waffle house a lot. Then I read a great article about the business in Bon Appetit and realized that the one near me is the exception, not the rule.

What it's like to work at waffle house for 24 hours straight

 

They say if your Waffle House cook isn't out front smoking a cigarette when you pull up, it won't be good
