Stuck In Evil Mode For 31 Days Prestigious

I'm sure you remember this, we all laughed at this man and his silly nonsense but you know what's not funny? This is literally the attitude of many African nations that chose Christianity as it's main religion. To suggest that LGTBAQI people are better off in a pro-Christian nation is extremely laughable, people have been harmed or killed because of attitudes and beliefs like this. To blame one religion while ignoring another for their anti-gay attitudes is backwards, ignorant, and regressive. You can pout and retort a bunch of trash to deride me, my point stands. I mean, you had actual presidential candidates here in America beat the pulpit about how gay people were in their minds ruining America by just existing and that meant their rights, including mine, should be taken away for the good of the majority who are not gay. That's safe to you?

You are disgusting, and your accusations of bigotry aren't even worthy of a response.

Get bent then, I don't care. Don't act like a bigot and then be offended when someone calls you out on it. Your crocodile tears mean nothing to me if you want to further the Islamophobia that plagues this country and the rest of the world by trying to justify hatred.

Watch this and tell me that Islam is truly the thing that I have to fear in the world. Go ahead, I dare you.

You say Christians want to murder LGBT people, but don't because they "can't get away with it." Literally NOTHING I said about Islam is as bigoted as your statement there. I don't agree with the moral equivalency argument. Very simple.

There are literally places around the world that do just that, I literally gave you examples of that. You choose to ignore them. Plus, you don't spend that much time preaching to people that homosexuality is evil without something like that in mind. Of course, that's not every Christian, is it? Funny enough, that's not every Muslim. So here's when your argument falls flat, you're literally vilifying one religion as this evil but ignoring the hateful nature of the other and acting like people wouldn't do harm because reasons. You're naive to say the least.

The main complaint about Christian-LGBT is not wedding cakes and bathrooms. It's continuous religious oppression and condemnation of a cause that no longer needs to exist. It's also about separation of Church and state which allows same sex individuals the same tax breaks, incentives, and legal rights over spouses heath choices. It's about an equality. Cakes are just a side bonus as most desserts are, the bathroom thing is just a stupid distraction from more serious issues.

Being gay in Mexico, South America, Africa, heck southern United states is an extremely risky and dangerous place to live. Matthew Shepard was murdered in one of the worst ways possible in Wyoming. The safest actual places for people of the LBGT community are places that are extremely liberal and that's not a guarantee.

I'm guessing you didn't click on the link I posted about the pastor. You should, because that's still a major mentality in this Christian nation.

You can't claim that only Islam is incompatible with the 21st century west when the bible has not been updated and in fact is just another rendition of Islam as it's whole basis is celebrating a Muslim. You can't pick and chose parts of a religion because it better suites your side. Majority of individuals from both sides are extremely peaceful, there are roughly 3 billion Christian's and roughly 2 billion Muslims, the fact that most the media coverage comes from Islamic part of the world where our Government routinely sells major weapons to influence their agendas to obtain oil fields or have control of certain regions for political/military reasons plays no part in your nightly news broadcast or your worldly views.

Islamic countries, much like Christian countries, in the 21st century west, there are areas it's safe to be and other areas you would be highly advised not to go or be open about who you are.

You have to also realize the social acceptance of the LGBT community is an extremely new social idea that goes against religious beliefs. Conflict of interests. Look at African American struggles since the end of end of de jure segregation, de facto segregation still heavily exists and there are high schools which are still segregated in the south with some having their first ever segregated proms. That's just equality of another human being based on nothing but skin color and look how far we've come in 50 years, even in Islamic nations of accepting individuals of different color. Gay marriage has been legal for 1 year and look at all the political fighting in a Christian nation, to prevent them from having equal rights.

I'm not trying to make this an argument about Christianity being worse than Islam or vice versa, but where you live influences who you root for and what you are fed.

A man shot & killed a Member of Parliament in the UK yesterday. He had no political or religious motivation, and suffered from no mental health issues. GUNS ARE THE PROBLEM.
In the US anyone at any time can shoot someone for any reason, purely because the tools required to do so are so easily acquired. Any deflection based on religion, race, politics, whatever is just that - deflection from the biggest issue your country faces. Before the barrel has stopped smoking in these shootings there's already an excuse, and it is so upsetting...

she was also stabbed and the attacker has been heard shouting "Put Britain First", which I'm not an expert and have absolutely zero evidence on this case, sounds like a political motive. The EU has been an extremely hot subject there because of immigrants which also ties into the religion of those immigrants.

An interesting article on CNN came up which gave some very interesting statistics regarding this matter to some degree.

"A leading expert on extremism, Potok set out to analyze such trends by studying 14 years of hate crimes compiled by the FBI.
Looking through more than 88,000 reported hate crimes from 1995 through 2008, Potok found that more than 17% targeted the LGBT community -- and that it was disproportionately affected compared to other groups. Among his findings:
LGBT people were more than twice as likely to experience a violent hate crime attack than Jews or blacks, more than four times as likely as Muslims, nearly 14 times as likely as Latinos, and about 42 times as likely as whites.
Looking at figures from 2014, the most recent year available, he said there were nearly 1,100 anti-LGBT hate crimes -- about the same as the annual average for the 14 years he studied."

Before Orlando: The (former) deadliest LGBT attack in U.S. history - CNN.com

that last part is the most interesting as the hate crimes in 2014 were the same average, not a decline despite the social acceptance of equality. Being a predominantly christian nation with 75% of the nation identifying as Christian individuals, it's not far fetched to conclude that many of the hate crimes were perpetrated by individuals who identified as Christians. The article lists a few major attacks against the LGBT community and Eric Rudolph, a radicalized christian makes the list (Atlanta Olympic Bomber)

Muslims and Christians make up 4/7 of the world and both religions teach homosexuality as a sin or allude to it being wrong. That's 4 BILLION people being told homosexuality is a sin and wrong.

I believe that was retracted by the person that first put that out there (a non-eyewitness who tweeted it, since deleted). But that would still prove my point that gun murders seem to have so much maybe's + what if's surrounding them that we move further away from asking why the hell did this man have a gun.

You cannot police religious beliefs, political ideologies, views on race etc. - the one thing we have control over is whether or not guns (that exists solely to take lives) are out there for these nutjobs to get hold of.

Edit: Just reading he may have ties to Neo-Nazism, so you are correct. However, the gun used may have been home-made - instructions on how to make one were obtained from a far-right group from, you guessed it, the USA...
