I’ve never understood the hate for JRE’s podcast. I’ve generally enjoyed it. Some more than others, but still enjoy it.


Any other time at least, except when Tj is on haha.

 

Yeah I enjoy JRE, he's a good interviewer. If it gets too conspiracy theory-esque then I shut it off tho. His MMA stuff is always great.

 

Listening to TJ talk about everything he does when he trains and in between training sessions is fascinating. The science that some of these trainers/nutritionists break everything down to is incredible.

 

This press conference intro is incredible. 235 is going to be fucking outrageous, mma gods willing.

TJ's so full of shit in this. Stoppage was fine, and Goddard is one of the better refs out there, not some local dude they just picked up. You fucking lost dweeb, just deal with it.

 

He needs to just suck it up because he's in the rare position where he'll probably actually get a rematch with the guy after a 1st round KO (albeit at a different weight). That basically never happens. But the more he cries about it, the less people care.

Like, I get him trying to say that he would have liked to keep fighting, but I've never heard anyone SO salty that they insist on an immediate rematch to "make it right".

 

I know, I like TJ a lot, but it's so off putting. Anyway, the rest of the pod is cool.

Sneaky good card tomorrow, I'm excited for it.
