I was all about eliminating the filibuster last year but considering all the takes on how the senate is becoming increasingly Republican-favored because of the way population shifts are happening, it makes me less favorable towards that idea. They'll more often than not have control of the senate going forward for a little while here, the lack of a filibuster in those times would be soul crushing.

I'm gonna hope getting a fucking ass kicking in 2020 will be enough with public opinion pressure for the GOP to just STFU and accept certain shit. idk. A heavy anti-trump wave could net them enough seats that they might not even have to worry about GOP getting the majority back in the senate until 2024 or 2026 at the earliest. 2022 could be a backlash election against a dem pres but the map is super Dem friendly so they might be able to withstand it.
