ok yeah French toast rules above all of them

 

every so often I wake up in the morning and my gf is already making French toast for breakfast. those are the best days

 

I love this game boy print but there is no way my gf would let me hang it in the apartment. I managed to get a couple Zac Gorman prints on the wall based on Zelda and Earthbound but she said no way to my huge Olly Moss Zelda print.

I plan on getting 4 different one's and making a grid.

 

If anything I’d want a bigger Switch, definitely not a smaller one. I do think a small one would probably do very well though, especially in Japan.

 

Worst thing for me was going from a DSi XL to a normal sized 3DS. Make everything big plz

Making a smaller Switch would go against almost everything Nintendo has stood for the past decade (im sure some dweeb will argue this) . A Nintendo Switch XL is OBVIOUSLY the next logical step.

 

Dweeb here. They actually went back and forth really. The 3DS had too many variations to see a pattern anymore. Plus the Switch started big wheras the other ones started small.

Anyway, a smaller Switch’s primary objective would be to make the Switch more popular among Japanese handheld gamers. The smaller 3DS models dominated in Japan, the bigger ones were more popular in the West.

 

Wasn't the variation pattern for 3DS just 3DS then 3DS XL then 2DS then 2DSXL?

 

No, the New 3DS models where inbetween there too, large AND small.

 

My Switch charger no longer works or either my Switch is broken because I’ve tried two separate outlets and my Switch won’t come on while it’s plugged in.

Whenever I put the Switch into its dock the green light appears for half a second and then dies.

 

Where is there a smaller model of the 3ds that is smaller than the original!!!?

The regular New 3DS was roughly the same size. Smaller would make no sense because it’s already so small, unlike the Switch which is pretty big for a handheld. Apples and oranges.

oh god I've just realized she was two years old when the n64 came out. she'll never go for it. she has no connection to one of the greatest consoles

 

I legitimately don't understand the "don't make it smaller" argument. That device clearly isn't for you, but there's a huge market for it. I know parents that would love a smaller, less expensive one for their kids. Others who travel a lot or use a lot of public transportation such as those in Japan have expressed interest in one that actually fits in your pocket or is easier to pack away quickly on the move. There's a market out there. It's just not marketed for you.

Personally, I would just love a more powerful one with better battery life and a charge port in a different spot, how that would work with the current docks is anybody's guess. Also, where's Bluetooth headphone compatibility?

P.S. Nintendo has historically gone back and forth with sizes of consoles and handhelds especially. Gameboy was huge then they came out with the Gameboy Pocket. They had the Gameboy Advance then the Gameboy Micro. It makes sense as technological development advances and for the Japanese market.

I had a micro. I only used it when I had to hide the fact that I was playing all my Gameboy like during high school. Other than that was entirely too small

 

That ResetERA insider just said the direct was happening “soon” (and didn’t specify what soon meant), but he was 100% correct on the timing of the Indies presentation and followed that up with saying that he didn’t think the Direct was in January.

But any person coming in and claiming to have information should be taken with a grain of salt.

But like, stupid me for having fun speculating these things.
