I wasn't originally a fan of Pacific Daydream, but then I kept listening to it whenever I went to the gym (lol), and now I enjoy most of it.

 

I’ve said this before but White and PD are my two favorite Weezer albums at this point

 

White album is probably their strongest effort since Green. I love that damn record.

 

people need to revisit Maladroit again, somehow it's still underrated

 

Keep Fishin’ is an all timer for me

 

Pacific Daydream is in my top half of Weezer's discog.

So 7th. Those are from perfect to solid for me. Then there's the last 4 the order really doesn't matter to me lol

 

Maladroit is a top 3 Weezer album, easily.

 

I basically love Pacific Daydream at this point, it's honestly the album I go to most at this point if I feel like listening to Weezer (probably because I've played the other ones so much). "QB Blitz" is extremely underappreciated and I think I'm the only person I know irl that genuinely loves "Happy Hour" haha

In all likelihood, I will like but not love Black Album for about a month before coming around to loving it. Just seems to be how it goes for me at this point

 

I'm with you and I'll take whatever flak for it. The early records are great but "White" and PD connect and seem most relevant to me at this point. I don't get the hate on PD. The songs are fun, memorable, and the production is solid. I've gotten a lot of non-Weezer fans hooked on PD

I don't actually dislike a song really on PD. I skip Summer more often than not but I absolutely love the 2nd half of the album along with Fender and Weekend Woman

"Get Right" and "La Mancha Screwjob" are two of my favorites

 

Ironically enough, these two are still my least favorite, but I've come around to enjoying them for what they are

 

It still amazes me the number of people who live White but don’t like PD. They’re pretty much on the same level for me.

 

I like PD but White is soooooo much better

 

White is much more of a throwback, but at this point, I think I'm just consistently interested in whatever this band wants to try next
