I like being out with my friends in my new Mercedes Benz. Is that wrong?

    A) I forgot there is a Carpool Karaoke series without whatshisface
    B) Weezer filmed a Carpool Karaoke with Fred Armisen. That's gonna be so bizarre
    C) I see Can't Knock The Hustle, Island In the Sun and Buddy Holly

I forgot black album was coming out so soon. March is going to be an insane month for music releases.

I think it'll be better than the teal album.

I'm still mad about the teal album.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I think it's gonna be a darker and weirder Pacific Daydream style album, and the Weezer oldheads will get mad again about them replicating the radio style (forgetting that PD was the brighter stuff from the Black Album sessions anyway, so it shouldn't really surprise anyone if I turn out to be right). But it'll be fun and catchy and occasionally inspiring at the least, and then next up whatever they've done with Jake Sinclair will be amazing and then people will realise Black wasn't so bad. And the world keeps turning

I'm still listening to Teal every day haha. Such an easy listen to have on while at work.

Really pumped for Black. They're 2/2 with the singles, bring on Living in LA!

  16. Wow, I thought this came out late March for some reason. My body is ready!

Pacific never really stood out to me, but it's fine I guess? Nothing offensively bad, but nothing particularly great

This. It's much better than their worst but nowhere near as good as their best. It's their most middle-of-the-road album.

agreed, however Mexican Fender and QB Blitz are White-tier jams

I love Weekend Woman. That chorus is power pop perfection. Reminds me of Fountains of Wayne a little bit

I always try making myself enjoy this album, but it'll never click. It's not awful, just like everyone is saying, it's middle of the road.

I do still enjoy Beach Boys, Weekend Woman and Any Friend of Diane's. I used to love Happy Hour but I overplayed it.
