  2. Me neither I just didn’t know how else to send it out and I guessed the first thing I remembered. I thought it might get hit with lots of downloads and I feel google drive and Dropbox don’t like that.

I think that was real damage control lol. Definitely sounded blink, and think it sounded like real drums which this Simple Creatures project doesn't have

    oh man, I gotta admit..

I went over a year without listening to blink. I couldn't get in to California or the Deluxe as much as I wish I did. I just went back today and damn this album has aged pretty well for me.

    few hot takes:

    - This is a great direction for blink

    - Feldmann is the best producer they could have gone with for what they were aiming for

    - I looked at the sales numbers + the money made from the California tour.. I can't think of another band in the genre doing as well right now

    - The resurgence of blink-182 has and will have a positive effect on the alternative music climate for a while

I'm happy for this band. what a wild amount of success. especially this far into their career. love that for them. they deserve it.

  10. Soooo I really want blink to play the Bronze Blue theme song at Back 2 the Beach. It’d be perfect. They should go full on TMBG

  13. Ya. If cereal killers never becomes a thing just do it with blink. I’d be down. Bronze Blue is catchy as fuck.

Started the Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix tonight and Jesus Christ...what a damn mess! And that one dude was about to S some D to get water through customs!

I think what kills me most are the workers/business partners being interviewed about it all. The ones that continued working for that dude and knew it wasn’t going to be pulled off, yet they still went through with it and were physically there went it all went to hell. I mean come on, one dude was going to S some D to “take one for the team”. How many red flags do people need?

I’m halfway finished with the documentary and I’m so annoyed by it haha. Then there’s the blurred blink-182 press release with Tom pictured in the band.....smh.

Anyone else feel this way or is it just me? I’m genuinely interested.

Seems like blink is really taking their time recording this time around, which I think could be a good thing, but hopefully we still get a summer release like we did with California.

  16. I was thinking about it this weekend and as long as the album doesn't SOUND like shit, especially the guitars, then I am all for whatever they put out next. It can be pop punk, it can be super radio pop, whatever. I'll try to embrace whatever they do as long as it sounds good. I'd actually be stoked for a super poppy Blink hit, like that "Shut Up And Dance" song or something. I mean, they're writing with the guys that wrote that song, so there's hope! But yeah, Blink is obviously my favorite band, but I've come to the realization finally that they're never going to put out something that makes me feel the way that Dude Ranch, Enema, TOYPAJ, and Untitled made me feel. And that's fiiiiiiiiine. It is what it is. But I'll support this fucking band until I die, so whatever. Bring on whatever you want to throw at us.

I definitely agree! I'll always support them and have their backs. It could be pop punk or more poppy and I'll still enjoy it as long as it sounds good ha.

I feel like I say this at least one-twice a month, but I am so fucking ready for new blink-182. I'm so grateful we are getting some consistent music/releases from these dudes.
