one of the first concerts i ever went to was seeing P.O.D. with support from fenix tx and blindside. what a time!

 

Went to the same tour, but Hazen St in place of Fenix TX

I am going out of town with my wife for the next few days and I have to make sub plans for each of the three days I’m gone. Basically I had to spend as much time planning for the sub as I would actually just teaching it myself in the classroom, so I’ve been prepping, printing, organizing shit since 4 (Florida time) and it’s now 11 lol.

 

Calling out as a teacher basically isn’t worth it

teachers actually tell the sub what to do? what happens if it's last minute

I just always assumed they just show up and it's like you're doing Honors English today

 

I’m not sure how it is in later grades, but at my elementary school we need to have clear plans made for our subs so as to not lose “instructional hours”. If we have last minute absences, we have EMERGENCY SUB PLANS that we make already uploaded to our OneDrive that administration can access to give to our sub that day. It’s lame.

Kids are assholes to sub teachers, which always made me uncomfortable :/ when I was in year 7, we had a sub tortured by a group of kids in my class. They made her cry and she ended up leaving
