I still haven't really listened to her other stuff there's too much fucking music to listen to and podcasts too fuck how does anyone have time, don't hate me it's on my list

Ha, it is frustrating when that happens. For the record, I don't think this is a bad album, but it's not blowing me away with the jaw-dropping awesomeness that I'm getting from a lot of people here!

Maybe I am too.

 

Musically, the ending on "Big Black Heart"

Lyrically, the last verse on "Didn't Know What I Was In For" (especially the last line) because it's very relevant

I just tried to go back and sample the album to see what the two songs I thought were okay were. I could only find '8 (circle)' as being alright. Honestly, the rest don't even sound like songs to me.

 

I absolutely love the first three tracks, but for some reason I get a bit lost in the middle, although it does pick up again towards the end.

Everyone has different opinions obviously, but damn, "29 #Strafford APTS" is an all-timer!

 

This album is such a breeze to listen through in its entirety. Goes by so quick.

Basically phoebe wrote the riff and then realized she ripped them off so then emailed them and asked if she could use it.

There’s some Apple Music track by track where she talked about it.

Phoebe x Julien x The National is my dream project now. I never thought we'd get a full Phoebe x Conor so I'mma keep believing!

 

National have already worked with Sharon Van Etten a bunch and she's friends with Julien... we're one step closer
