Domo reviews;

Becky/asuka - B. Good match. Not amazing. Obviously not terrible. Just a match. A weird dynamic cause everyone loves becky but they dont really want her to win this match. Right outcome cause when you look back you wont remember her losing the opening match.

Tag match - C. I'm just not into any of this. I dont think it's hot garbage, but I'm just not hyped for miz Shane. I think I'm just over Shane at this point...especially since it's the same Shane McMahon for 3 years now. Match was very by the book and fine but I didn't care.

Ronda/sasha - A-. A little sloppy at times but it worked. Great match.

Womens rumble - C+. And that grade is because the right person won and it was a great moment and thank god wwe actually pulled the trigger. But dear lord this rumble exposed at how many awfully booked or directionless women there are on the roster. And way way too many nxt women. Not even shayna. And at least one legend would've sufficed (Victoria come onnn). There was just nothing going on for the majority of this. No moments, no angles other than naomi and mandy....and that shit with alicia and marla...what the hell was that. I'm excited about lacey though. Once true possible winners came in towards the end it got better but a big step down from the amazing nostalgia fest of last years.

Aj/dbry- D. Woof. Vince. What are you doing man? There's a reason why cool down matches happen. After beckys big moment...after the show has been on for a good 5 hours already... we do NOT need 20+ minute average wrestling match. Card placement is super important but this match also just suffered from its length. And that ending...by god. We wasted 25 minutes just so Erik Rowan can give aj 1 choke slam? Awful. I couldn't write a worse ending.

Brock/finn - C. Generous grade. It's a lesnar match. Move on.

Mens rumble - B. Jeff Jarrett and elias. Amazing. Then...you realize there is absolutely no way seth isnt winning this. And he won. Which is the obvious and most likely right decision. Who else could win? Very disappointed at no owens zayn bray or ec3. Lack of surprises for both mens and womens was frustrating. I'm not a fan of using this many nxt people. It's a waste. I did love everything involving nia. Huge wtf moment. She looked strong as hell...and her getting 619 and rko... haha wow.

Overall - B-. This was a longggggg fuckkng show. I think the stadium sucked a lot of the air out of the atmosphere and the Arizona crowd being so dead at times didnt help. All obvious winners won...which is fine. Highlights were Jeff Jarrett, rousey/sasha, nia and becky obviously. Can't really think of anything else.

I thought Ronda and Sasha was bad.

 

I haven't seen it but uh I would have preferred Charlotte in Nia's role.

 

"Dominates" they're really gonna try to roll this and come out looking like heroes

 

I really hope we don't get dean vs Finn or some meandering shit that doesn't do much for either of them

 

Also. Damn...Pete dunne is a small small guy. He could be a great addition to 205 live though

Was a fun show overall. Didn’t drag anywhere near as much as some people made it out to. But then again, I’m not a psychopath and I didn’t watch the pre show.

Both Rumbles were great and was happy that there were no legends in the women’s one. Last year was a slog as it was just “oh look, another so-called legend. Great” but this year was chock full of the up and coming talent. Both rumbles utilitiesed NXT/developmental talent well. Perfect way to get more eyes on NXT/NXTUK too as none of them looked like fodder.

All four title matches had their moments. Sasha/Ronda probably edges it slightly for me as the best. Which is odd considering I’m not a fan of Ronda. AJ/Bryan was good as well, even if the crowd were dead.

Fast forwarded it through the SD tag match, because what’s the point.

Let’s hope we never hear JBL and King ever again.

just got up to the women’s rumble and fucking loved it. got a few matches left but am already confident the three women’s matches stole the show.
