It’s been slow at work lately (all the movies suck) so my paycheck was pretty small. What I don’t get though is why we hire new people all the time. So, instead of giving a decent amount of hours to our existing staff- we get 10 new people and everyone only works 3-4 days

It is vastly more costly to train a new employee than to retain an existing one, this shit never made sense to me. If it's a corporation they virtually always have to expense free training hours that don't count against the local branch's hourly budget for the week. 40-80 hours right down the drain, paying for inexperience, at a high turnover rate you're literally throwing stupid amounts of money away.

 

How can I find out how much some of my vinyl are worth?
