So for a second I thought "hey it would be nice to have an autographed Tom Delonge book" so I went to order.......until I saw that the book is friggin' 80 BUCKS!

 

If you didn't invest, how else do you expect him to build his disappearing spaceship?

 

Fuck I’m listening to the feeling this isolated bass track and my hand hurts just thinking about playing it. It’s all downstrokes. I get he doesn’t do that live but fuck man. What a beast.

 

Come on man, I was trying to avoid spoilers for the new live action remake.

 

I don’t get how Tom was doing all those fast downstrokes during the first two albums

 

ATST and First Date are pretty much the only Blink singles that I skip over when I’m listening. Feeling This will never lose its luster. Those harmonies are too good.

 

I will always remember the day where I saw someone have a status on Facebook of incorrect lyrics of feeling this. They said “faith fell short this time your smile fades in the summer. I love Christian rock.”

 

I saw someone on Facebook post “if were fucked up you’re too plain”

 

My favourite misheard blink lyric I heard someone say will always be "Well my kid sister's growing up" from Dammit.

 

“I walked alone” has to be the top of the list, right?

 

I thought Tom said “the glowing side burns” in Down for the longest time and never really understood what the hell it meant until I actually looked at the lyrics. So yeah.... haha.

 

Didn’t he joke about singing it that way in a cheetah video? He laughs and says something about “does she have sideburns?” if I recall correctly

 

I don’t remember that Cheetah video but if he did that would be amazing.

 

Yeah I remember him joking about that line, but I honestly can never remember what he is actually saying. Even if I look up the lyrics, I forget the very next time.

I wish I saw them earlier. Didn’t get a chance until 2011.

I got some new Jaybird Tarah Pro headphones today. First song I tested them out to, for whatever reason, was Simple Creatures - Drug. Even though I initially thought it was so cheesy, I gotta say....I like it so much more after listening with nice headphones. Now I'm excited to hear more from this side project. Mark's first verse is my favorite part.

Awesome interview. I saw a similar one on YouTube that was a lot of the same info, except he revealed the EP’s name was Strange Love (not sure if that was already know or what)

So looks like blinks album is looking like summer for the release but they plan on staggering releases from blink, All Time Low, and a second one from Simple Creatures...so who knows when it will actually be.

Also trying to not put much stock into him saying this new one is a “departure” from California....but damn am I excited.

 

Yeah I just watch that one too. Thanks for summarizing the interview. I’m driving right now and I really kind of should even be on Corus but I am using Siri to dictate. LOL. Unless someone can get to it first, I will edit out that song and save it as it’s on MP3 sometime this weekend. I thought it was kind of a jam!
