I mean, it's not terrible, but I wouldn't say it's all that good either.

This sounds like them trying to take advantage of the recent Panic! success.

 

They should just stick to the Steve Aoki song they did then. Miles better than this..

 

I actually kind of dig some of this, but it definitely borders on the brink of cheesy pop. I'm curious to see what they can do with this style though.

But seriously, I know we've beaten the "Na Na" criticism to death by now, but come on. That shit has lost it's novelty 100 fold at this point. When the song kicked off, it sounded just like this:

 

Legit thought of Pink too. This song doesn't do much of anything for me. Like someone said, kind of like a diet Panic at the Disco.

 

That song is rough but those two make a good combo so I’m not writing this project off yet.

Yeah, there are definitely a bunch of people doing this sort of style, and both of these guys are friends with a lot of them so this direction wasn't exactly a surprise.

 

Hmmm. I’m conflicted with the song. Think it might be too cheesy for me.

The na na’s in the beginning are pretty funny too.

 

Also, hopefully this summons Tom to release a new song. Surprisingly enough, I miss that dudes voice.

 

On album I agree. I know he can't sing live, but always liked his voice in studio.

It's fine. Never been into ATL and it def feels like a side project and not something that makes me say "oh I wish he saved that for the blink record" so that's fine for me lol.

It's Mark so I'll def listen to the rest. And I feel like it's not a bad thing if people hear the song start and think "Pink" as far as chance of success goes lol.

 

Except when is the last time she was actually relevant? (Genuine question because I don't follow her career at all.)

I mean I just looked up the only song I knew of off her last album and it has 113 million views on YouTube.

 

Its ok! Probably wouldn't care for it if i didnt know Mark was in the band, though.

Maybe Alex and Mark wrote this together for Blink, but they didn't feel like it fit with Blink's current sound so they used it for this new band instead? That's my hope anyway. I don't want Blink to sound like this... Also, did Feldmann produce this one too? Assuming he did based on all of the na-na-nas.

 

If Feldmann produced this he would have already posted about it on instagram haha.

 

Someone in the youtube comments says Zakk Cervini produced it according to Kerrang. I don't know who that is but whatever.

 

Isnt that feldmann's engineer who left to do his own thing? Awkwaaaard

 

That is basically Feldmann Jr. (he's Feldy's sidekick for a lot of projects but produces on his own as well). But yeah, seems like he broke off.
