This album is definitely going to mess up my Weezer albums in iTunes nitpicking. I have never listed the self titled as the color, because Blue, Green, Red were never technically called The (Color) album, just colloquially. Because iTunes doesn't allow more than one album named the same thing, I notate them the same as with like... American Football. The albums are Weezer (1994), Weezer (2000), etc...

WELL now there are going to be two self titled albums in the SAME year, which is lovely for life and enjoyment, but difficult for me. PLUS now that streaming services exist, the band themselves have the albums uploaded as "Weezer (Blue Album), etc... AND they are referring to these as Teal and Black blah blah blah... I think it's time for me to bite the bullet and just add the color to the name in iTunes.

Trying to play this with my girlfriend but I can’t because on the 8th song my HomePod stopped working since the WiFi isn’t working. I can’t restart the router because it’s in my mom’s room.

Listened through the whole thing, and I'm not sure why. Its certainly a thing that exists.

I literally woke up, read about the new album, immediately put it on and had such a great breakfast listen-along. This is such a sweet surprise.

And I will not tolerate any whining about this album since it didn't delay the release of the Black Album in any way. It's simply an extra treat they recorded because they had so much fun with Africa. "No Scrubs" and "Mr. Blue Sky" are amazing.

 

Weezer is living their best life.
