Nice. I had $30 in Amazon points, so KH3 came to $30.

I have to decide if I just dive into KH3 or if I go back and replay KH1 and 2. I haven't played them since the PS2 days and I kind of want to grab the remasters. I may just play KH3, then go back and play them all after that.

I know it's tough because there's soooo many games and reviews that have to be done. But it'd be nice if even a handful of reviews were done after the game was completely finished.

I've been replaying the first all week and hopefully can finish in time to do the second as well. I'm glad to do it because the memory jog is nice, although I am definitely going to watch a couple of youtube videos to get the overall story right again. The remix packages are nice but there are some frustrating bugs and the mechanics can feel janky at times but it's worth it.

I went to a panel at PAX East last year that basically laid the whole plot out and yeah it's still confusing. Didn't help that we waited all this time because they focused on a bunch of spin-off's.

EDIT: Spin-off's that are important of course but come on it was frustrating :)

I figured with 3 about to come out I’d play through 2 again on the hardest difficulty. Game is much harder than I expected. Basically got to Beasts castle and it was so hard I eventually moved on to other games. Think I’ll be playing 3 on normal difficulty.

Sometimes it’s really hard to accept you’re not great at video games anymore lol. I swear early teens is like the sweet spot for becoming amazing at a game.

I don't think it's egregious. I've made similar mistakes while playing games. Mistakes happen and they did the right thing by apologizing and updating the score. What do people want from them? Their heads on a stick?

    Yeah, that's not true.

So tell me something awesome Supporter

When I played Persona 4 I pushed the guy into the TV the first time, and when the credits reached I was like "wow this game was short". When it hit me that I didn't have certain auto-SLs full I reloaded from the last save and discovered there was so much more to do.

My wife says I can get a Switch and 2 games for my birthday Sunday.

    Need help choosing games.

    Super Mario Odyssey seems cool

So does Zelda but I've never played Zelda.

    Also LEGO DC Supervillains

Odyssey for sure. If you want something fun for both of y'all overcooked 2 is a great consideration. Amazing couch co-op.

If you haven't played Zelda, BOTW is the best and worst entry for you since it's nothing like the others meaning you could have a great time, but then if you wanted to explore the rest of the franchise you might be disappointed since BOTW is a big departure from the previous entries.

Super Mario Odyssey is a fun little game that is pretty easy and accessible. You and your wife could both have a good time with that.

Most Lego games over the past few years have been pretty solid. I personally haven't played that one, but I've heard good things.

If you want games that you can play together with your wife I'd suggest Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Snipperclips, Overcooked 2, Katamari Damacy ReRoll and Captain Toad:Treasure Tracker.

If you want to good single player experiences then I'd suggest Okami HD, Hollow Knight, Valkyria Chronicles, Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.

    Overcooked is pretty chaotic no?
Is Treasure Tracker 2 player now? The WiiU version was not.

Last Lego game we played was Batman 3, want to get caught up.

    What is the Rabbids like?

Hmm yeah, it's a little chaotic, in a calm way though? Haha. It's a ton of fun with whoever you play with though.
