Without a doubt. Shaun of the Dead is one of the best zombie movies ever made imo. Easily top 5, if not top 3.

If I remember correctly, Hot Fuzz has enough graphic violence to satisfy any gore hound.

Surprisingly... unsurprisingly... Toni Collette misses out on the Oscars. Super lame.

Finally watched Never Hike Alone - A Friday The 13th Fan Film, and I really liked it! Some neat visuals and badass scenes. I’d consider it One of the better Friday The 13th films

Late pass, but I'm happy to report Child's Play 2 was great! The Factory scene was so good. Onto Bone Tomahawk today

I heard about that scene and I have avoided the film ever since. Don’t know if I can take it.

Loved Bone Tomahawk. Have you seen Zahler’s follow-up, Brawl In Cell Block 99?

Really looking forward to his next one too - Dragged Across Concrete.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

I was in utter shock when that scene happened. I didn't expect it and then it KEPT GOING. Truly an unforgettable moment.

  18. I have not. Is it also horror-leaning? Because even without its final act, Bone Tomahawk was an excellent western/drama.

It is a bit. You just need to watch it. Especially if you enjoyed Bone Tomahawk that much.

  20. Do you know if it's streaming anywhere? It's on my list now regardless

edit: Ahhhh, this is the Vince Vaughn film! It's all coming together now. Haven't seen it, but it's on Prime. Might even dig into that tonight.

  23. Man...I wish Pooka! was better, because the premise, along with the practical effects/costume, were really, really cool. But the execution just wasn't there.

    Still worth the watch imo.

Watched the circle..... I'll never get tired of these type of premises. Only knock is that there's no way the irs looking guy would last that long

this pretty much how I felt. it kind of falls apart, but the bizarreness, style, and practical effects and costume were enough for me to not feel like I wasted 90 minutes haha. I gotta watch the New Years one before the Valentine's Day one comes out.
