Last time I saw them I got wayyyyy too high and had to leave before they even went on, glad they’re coming back so quickly:

 

Seems like the tour was real and they are indeed headlining over TAS

 

I feel like Knocked Loose are definitely bigger than TAS at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, I’m pissed that isn’t coming to Florida. Insane lineup.

 

The Acacia Strain's popularity has been dwindling lately. Not shocked that KL are headlining.

Dang, Velvet Jones is a teeeny tiny venue! Interesting they’re throwing that in between Coachella dates...

 

Knocked loose have picked up some steam lately. TAS supporting isn't a surprise and I can see this tour selling well

 

there is a second leg of that foxing tour being announced so you never know!

 

I don’t think KL headlining over TAS has anything to do with the popularity of TAS going down. It’s the same situation as Terror in the support slot last year.

 

KL/TAS touring and not coming anywhere in Texas makes me so sad.

 

If we're going based off Monthly Listeners on Spotify at the moment, Knocked Loose have 131k and The Acacia Strain have 102k. I'd say KL has a bit more hype and popularity at the moment than TAS, but we'll see if they can sustain it over the long haul like Vincent and the boys have.

 

knocked loose is absolutely one of the biggest bands going in that lane. this is a good opportunity for TAS

 

honestly i'm curious who can fill a bigger room, KL or code orange

 

I'd argue Knocked Loose. They take/took a lot more mainstream or tamer support tours than Code Orange. Warped Tour, Beartooth, etc. Code Orange can keep their conviction of only touring with the best underground bands but Knocked Loose is smart from a business standpoint.

I got into a huge fight with my friend about why this band should just stay dead and TL doesn't deserve any semblance of a chance in the scene, and she could not understand why it's a problem that they're back. I can just not support them is her response to this. I could unpack a lot here but I just wanted to say that this pisses me off a lot, the end.

I mean I don't think CO sold out Irving Plaza in NYC, and I'm almost positive that if KL played there it would sell out. My viewpoint at least

 

Jealous of all my friends back home that get to hit up that Velvet Jones show. Aside Coachella, not a single LA or OC show :,(

KL has to be dropping a new album soon then. This tour cycle feels like it has hit the US 15 times.

System Of A Down, Deftones, Gojira, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, Hatebreed, WWE pay per view, US active rock festivals, massive europe festivals.... super underground

 

I'm not saying they entirely do underground shit. They just have this general attitude or not wanting to be classified as a metalcore band, which yeah you can argue that they're different from other bands in the genre but as a whole they have a real chip on their shoulders of who they want to tour with (see the interview they did a few years back where they said they didn't want to tour with any deathcore bands). I see them as a band who is very picky and selective with which bands they tour with. Knocked Loose just seems cool to tour with whoever wants then because they know the exposure they can get.
