Song is fantastic, these guys really need to blow up.
And yes major sucks that it's only an ep, hopefully it leads up to an album/ a series of EPs. Still glad we're getting new material either way

 

It really sucks they haven’t had the opportunity to blow up but I guess they aren’t super active so it sorta makes sense. But with the direction they have gone with PITP and this new track, I could see them doing well amongst crowds who dig like Toro Y Moi, Glass Animals, Nosaj Thing etc. Would love if they could get some exposure at a festival or something

 

Just got a shipping notification for the EP, hope it arrives soon.

 

Dang I didn't even realize they released another single last month called Bastard.

Dang. I looked at the album on Spotify and saw it clocked in at 37 minutes, so I got extremely excited this was a full length release.. but yeah that was just cause of the added instrumentals. Silly me

 

Yea. Four songs plus four instrumentals. They’ve said that more music will come this year. We’ll just have to wait and see

The new EP is fantastic... “Neon Mirror” is such a gorgeous song. Definitely gonna be jamming the two albums as well today.

 

Did anyone else think Year of the Dog was going to be an LP? I'm kinda bummed. I wouldn't have spent $25 for an EP on vinyl.

 

This is so good. Crazy that this used to be a post hardcore band.

 

Besides Copeland this is probably my favorite release of the year thus far. I need a whole album like this, really really hope they make more music this year.
