Watched both Fyre docs and the netflix one is EXHILARATING. I was not expecting to be so invested. The Hulu one was good but felt like it filled in extraneous details of Billy’s life— seemed more like a portrait of the man rather than detailing the catastrophe of the event.

  2. I haven't seen any of the Indiana Jones movies (I know, another one of my many blind spots), but I was reminded of this video.

I started watching the She-ra series that came out recently and I like it a lot. I guess it's worth mentioning that I don't have any sort of nostalgic attachment to He-man or the She-ra series from the 80's so I'm going into it with a pretty much clean perspective. It's like they took a lot of the good parts of Sailor Moon and Steven Universe and threw them in a blender, and I mean that as a compliment.

The Indiana Jones trilogy is the best, most consistent trilogy that isn't LOTR. Temple of Doom is my favorite. I like to pretend KOTCS doesn't exist, but the first half is pretty entertaining before going SHARPLY downhill in the second half.

I still like KOTCS a lot, but that original trilogy is definitely an all time classic of all the trilogies. I think I'd put BTTF at #1 though.

Watched the Fyre documentaries and liked both of them. Didn’t realize Jerry media was behind the Netflix on every.

I haven't seen BTTF in years, so not sure how it stacks up. Will need to revisit it soon. My fav trilogies in order are:

    LOTR
    Indiana Jones
    Dark Knight
    Star Wars OT
Planet of the Apes (recent ones)

Just discovered that there is a Catwalk (with actual cats) documentary on Netflix. Immediately added to my list lol.

    Die rad.

for some reason I got hooked on Slobby's World yesterday and banged out 8 or 9 episodes. It seems staged for the most aprt and Slobby Robby gets annoying; but I love the stuff he is picking and selling.

Totally agree with you. There's some cool items but it seems very staged and Slobby does get annoying.

I turned Slobby's World not knowing what it was and wound up watching 3 episodes while cleaning/doing laundry. I don't think I could just sit and watch it though.

Personally I think Toy Story 3 is overrated. 1 & 2 are fantastic though

  15. That garbage ending (I'm not using "garbage" as an adjective...) was definitely quite an experience in the theater, but in retrospect it feels kind of emotionally manipulative.

Watching You and I'm amazed by how many people on the show don't password-protect their laptops. I live alone and my laptop is password protected. Honestly I haven't been on my laptop in months because I don't even remember my password and I'm too lazy to reset it. All these people not putting passwords on things WTF

I didn’t know you could turn off the password protect feature. I assumed it was a mandatory thing, I’ve never used a computer that didn’t have it.

If it wasn't on by default i wouldn't use it. No one else touches my computer and there's nothing important there

Watching Parks and Recs, and Allan Mcleod (Paul from You're the Worst) was an extra in one of the scenes. And the last time I watched Cloverfield, I also saw Theo Rossi (Shades in Luke Cage) in the party in the first half of the film.

    Just found it amusing.
