This show is so good it’s unfair

 

Damn they’re pulling out all the stops

 

The fact that this isn’t the finale leads me to believe we’re getting another rug pulled out from under us in the very near future.

Derek and his fancy martinis had me dying. Man, this episode had me laughing out loud a lot more than usual this season.

 

Honestly such a great episode, had some of the biggest out laughs from me in a while

 

This is such a genius direction to take the story. Seems so obvious but I never saw it coming

 

Maybe the best episode of the series

 

Holy shit I laughed too hard at Shawn describing Entourage

 

I love how fucking weird this episode is

 

“no serial killers, no dictators, no one who managed a boy band”

 

It’d be so easy to set them up as still being tortured, it only ruin Michaels character progression

 

def highlight of the season

 

Nah, then the private interactions that Michael had with the demons/the good place board would make no sense

 

I think they mean at any moment they can switch out Real Michael with Demon Skin Suit Michael

 

I would happily watch an entire season where it’s just fucked up things happening to Chidi. His reactions are incredible

 

This week was really good. Some great lines and the potential reboot back to the neighborhood setting is a good twist I didn’t necessarily expect.

 

Very sad that next week is the finale already, what a wild ride this season has been.

 

Did this show ever explain how Mindy made it to the medium place? Is she actually from far enough in the past that people were still regularly getting into the good place when she got sent to the medium place?

 

Apparently she died in the 80's, so no... but I guess it's possible she did better than everyone else so like?

Also, if the last time someone got into The Good Place was 500+ years ago, how did Lincoln get there? (Unless Michael was just making stuff up at the start of the series.)

 

I imagine the explanation will probably wind up just being Jeremy Bearimy. Which I'm honestly fine with, but would be pretty great if they actually find a way that explains all of it beyond just "time is messy"
