I say nightmare on Elm st

 

At the moment The Conjuring & The Witch. I don't like horror films that rely on a lot of gore (that's not scary to me its just gross) but it limits what I watch within the genre unfortunately

 

There are a lot of gaps I need to fill in, but some of my current favorites are Evil Dead 2, An American Werewolf In London, and It Follows

 

Very tempted to say 28 Days Later. The Thing is up there too

I recall a lot of people hating it, but I thought Drag Me to Hell was amazing and would call it my favorite. Sleepy Hollow was an old fave, too.

 

Either Alien or A Nightmare on Elm Street, I can't choose.

 

The Exorcist is my favorite horror movie overall.

Event Horizon is probably my favorite sci-fi/horror.

 

Yeah opinions on DMTH are all over the place but I fucking love it.

 

I would probably say Alien

 

In The Mouth of Madness was a vastly underrated psychological horror film.

 

drag me to hell is awesome

 

I must've been way too banged up or something because I wasn't a fan of DMTH...Def. need to give it another chance. Same story with The Babadook.

 

whoever called the Crooked Man spinoff from Conjuring 2, looks like they're going the "Nun" route instead.

How was Annabelle? I never got around to seeing it but I assumed it was pretty rough

Gotta watch Event Horizon, haven't seen it in so long.

 

i liked it also. a quality ghost story.
and yes! love for KOTH is the best kind of love.

 

I was pretty disappointed in Southbound. I really wanted to like it, and I thought the "The Accident" was noteworthy (I had to look away a few times), but the rest of it was severely hit or miss. Surprised at how much positive reception it's getting.
