Yeah, I fucking love the lyrics. Some really hard-hitting stuff about aging and nostalgia. Absolutely the reason I have gravitated to this record in the way I have.

 

the lyrics are definitely better than almost anything on the two before it. On par with Plans and Narrow Stairs. Maybe not great, but a step up still.

 

They are in the studio right now too recording something.

 

Any speculation on openers for the tour in April 2019?

 

I heard "I Dreamt We Spoke" at a local breakfast place on New Years Day. It made for good biscuit-munching music.

Officially bought my tickets for April!! Beyond excited

 

After almost 12 years I finally saw Death Cab live last night.. it was everything I could have hoped for. They played so many songs from all across the board. The outro jam to We Looked Like Giants had me floored. I was wanting to see Bixby, but I found out they've been swapping it with WLLG and that's okay. I'm just so glad I saw them!

 

I've only seen them at Riot Fest, but I would like to see a full 90 minute headlining set from them so bad.

 

Yeah they played for almost two hours, it was great. 23 song set list
