I don't think I've been to more than 25 shows. I have to travel to pdx or seattle which are 3/4 and 5/6 hours away soooo it's not something I can do often. Cost of travel is always way more than the ticket.

 

I highly doubt that you've been to less than me. Nobody I ever want to see ever comes here and I rarely travel for shows unless it's like an "I'm obsessed and need to see them if they're within a couple hours" sort of artist, which there are probably only ever 3-4 of at any given time. So I just wait for bands to come here, which is like once every year or two.

 

I don't really remember. It all just felt off. It probably didn't help that Bushwick Bill kept harassing Wade, Lueda, and myself.

 

I haven't gone to a show yet this year and I'm pretty disappointed. But, I have Modest Mouse/Brand New coming up which is very exciting, and then Pinegrove a couple weeks after that. I'm hoping some good fall tours hit up West Michigan.

 

I've been to three shows this year. Four if you count Julien Baker's in-store performance, but I don't really count that.

And I have three more lined up at the moment.

 

I feel you! I have to travel farther than I'd like but even if I didn't, most artists I want to see skip the pnw entirely and it's kinda frustrating. Like I wanna give u my $, come over here so I can give it to u!!! I have to be selective and only see ppl I really wanna see. Sometimes artists I like casually play, but not worth driving that distance

 

Anyone listen to Everything Everything? A friend is putting me on to them right now and I'm loving it haha

 

Yup, and most of the time I'm paying $10-20 to see an artist, then if you factor in traveling (or god forbid staying overnight in a hotel or something) it ends up costing several times what the ticket itself did.

 

Unfortunately I'm pretty sure you've been to more shows to me. I just haven't gone to a lot.

 

Gonna make a facebook post saying "the second amendment should be revoked" and remove anyone who posts stupid shit.

 

I guess it's good I haven't been to a whole lot because I went to the Hotelier/Told Slant show on Monday and have been sick ever since because my immune system is garbage and I always catch something when I'm around crowds.
