Why does EA still have the SW license!? Give it to someone who will make a fucking SW game!!!!

Imagine a game like GoW(2018) in the SW universe? Give me a Burnout BUT WITH PODRACING!!! Anything it’s such an untapped world these past two generations!

At this point, I’m amazed Disney hasn’t yanked the license away. They’ve had this deal since 2012 and we’ve seen nothing but two Battlefields disguised as Star Wars games.

Really they should’ve just let passionate individual studios pitch Lucasfilm what they wanted to make instead of shoving all of it into EA who, I would imagine, forced their studios to work on Star Wars whether they wanted to or not.

You guys always forget thay E.A. also has Star Wars mobile games on the market that make them and Disney a lot of money so all is well in their view

I think Respawn will finally make good use of the license this year. I have faith in them to deliver a kick ass game.

Really wish Bioware could somehow get the license to make a SW game. Feel like they'd already have a killer foundation to build off of.

It still bums me out that I got duped by that first Battlefront game. That thing fucking sucked.

I just hope bioware can put out a solid product with DA4 without EA bullshit dragging it down. I’d say the same about anthem but I really don’t see myself playing a multiplayer only game at this point in my life. I’m pretty much only looking for single player experiences.

I've pretty much lost all faith in Bioware.

DA Origins was extraordinarily meh and ME Andromeda lost every bit of charm and atmosphere the first 3 games had. Probably my biggest videogame disappointment ever haha

Do you mean inquisition? Inquisition is one of the best rpg’s I’ve ever played so /shrug

DA Origins and DA Inquisition are both rad. DA 2 is meh. Andromeda is meh and ME3 is 1/4 meh

Yeah I’m gonna skip 2 but I’m playing origins when I’m done with inquisition. I really have very very few complaints about inquisition and am extremely impressed with almost everything about it. I think I’ve sank 40 hours into it in a week

Hot take but I enjoy Inquisition more than DA:1, I know i'm in the minority.

I’m anticipating I’ll like inquisition more, I tend to like the more modern rpg design, which makes rpg purists mad but whatever lol

Yes. Just couldn't get into it. Although I wasn't a massive DA fan beforehand. Too collect-a-thon-ish. Which is a complaint I have with so many games this gen.

I didn't have near as much a problem with the ending of ME3 as many people did. I kept my expectations in check because I knew there was no way they were delivering a satisfying ending with the myriad of different choices people had made throughout the series. Damn I miss those games.

I can see that but I’ve found a lot of the collection stuff is easily passable or just “do as you come across” and not really anything I go out of my way to do, besides closing fade rifts because they award 2 power each

Yeah, definitely not a requirement or anything. I'm just so sick of videogames cluttering the map up and making everything feel like a fuckin checklist.

Playing AC: Origins right now, and it's great so far, but I have the same complaint. Drop me in an open world with 9,000 different markers and "?'s" and it just becomes a chore.

DA:O is my favorite, just an excellent, slightly more modern update of classic style bioware. built an interesting world within the generic fantasy trappings, really memorable characters. DA2 got just about everything wrong, from the tiny scale, mind bogglingly repetitive dungeons and areas, really poor characterization. DA:I was a great step back in the right direction. not quite as memorable as origins but the plot and characters were much more memorable than 2, combat far better and the world was interesting again. my main complaint comes with the tons of mmo-style padding they shoved in the game but it got me excited about the series again. it's a good game.

Agreed. That's something that I really like about Breath of the Wild. Besides the couple of main quest that you get in the beginning, its up to you to explore and find your own quests. Then from there you can select which one you want to show up on the map. Doesn't feel so overwhelming and makes it more fun to explore that way.

that’s the one thing stopping me from odyssey and origins, ubisoft is notoriously really fucking bad about that kind of design too. eventually in far cry 4 I just stopped giving a fuck about anything but the main story because it got so repetitive doing anything else
