    Red card Y/N?

    hmmm

It's nonsense that that's considered a red now.

    Yellow.

I think red is fair for that. That's a dangerous slide no matter how you slice it. No much different than the slide from Kompany on Salah that only drew a yellow last week, and which should have been a red. End result of this tackle is worse as well. Of course Kompany got zero ball on his slide, so idk. Could go either way, but I think a red is fair.

  4. If Pogba didn’t get a red yesterday then no one deserves a red

Think that probably is a red on balance. Lunged in, both feet off the ground, could easily have lost control of the challenge. Maybe an "orange" card, but don't think there can be any complaints.

I mean he gets the ball before he goes through him, he does get him studs up on the ankle though

  7. The freeze frame makes it looks worse than it was tbh

I honestly wasn’t that upset it was only a yellow but a red is certainly justified

Boly = Yellow + a warning about the follow-through IMO. Every single 50-50 in football has the potential to injure a player, in the same way every time there can potentially be a head injury every time two players go up to head the same ball. Boly made every effort to go in one-footed (tucked his other leg under his leading leg from the moment he left the ground) and make contact with the ball and only the ball (3rd angle shows his eyes on the ball the whole time) - slightly harsh to be given a red for me. That said, you understand why it was red rather than yellow, and so early in the game Boly should show more composure.

  9. I don’t think Spurs had plans to buy anyone this window (not a bold take, I know) but these injuries might change their mind.

CM: Winks, Sissoko, Skipp are healthy. Dembele just took a plane to China. Dier and Wanyama are injured. And Sissoko did pick up an injury in the United game but it’s unclear if he’ll miss time. No depth at all right now.

ST: Kane injured and Poch said he could miss time. Son just left for Asain games. Lucas has been injured. All we have is Llorente right now. No way we survive any stretch with that.

Maybe not a yellow but karma for Wolves stealing point in Wolverhampton earlier this year.

That Boly one isn't that clear for me. Can see why the ref gives the red, because it looks brutal in real time and a bit of lunge too.

When you see the reverse angle and the slow motion though, I'm not really sure what he's done wrong. He's not high, he's tucked the back leg and he's taken the ball. I guess the studs are showing a bit, but not insanely so.

It's a bit reckless, so either colour card is fair imo. I never felt like just because a player wins the ball they should get away with being reckless.

We just got our logo for the local Man City Supporters Group. I’d imagine the designer would be willing to help any other supporters group.

The player and his manager have both admitted it was a deserved red, so what do I know!

Kane our for at least a couple months, seems he won’t be back in training until early March.

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

    sigh

  19. Welp. We are screwed the next few weeks with Son gone.

I saw a rumor that we could buy Malcom on loan. I think a loan move could be more realistic than buying a new player.

The Shea signing is a weird one for me, but I am in no position to question the wizardry of Eales and Bocanegra.

In beating Blackburn, we've managed to knackered about 4 further players to add to the list. I expect some very unfamiliar names will be in the starting line up against Cardiff. Hopefully lots of nice foreign sounding ones. Get ol' Wanker wound up.

    What a bullshit season
