I can't find the post but I think someone said earlier that the Neighborhoods sequencing is bad. So true. I just took a quick look back through it and it's so weird. Like Mark and Tom just having back to back strange electronic songs that they obviously made on their own (Love is Dangerous and Fighting the Gravity). Also calling the song MH.date. just summed up how half assed the album was that they didn't bother to make up a proper name for it.

Yeah. I'm almost never a fan of remixes like these.

 

If this is what that photo of them together awhile ago was in reference to, talk about underwhelming

 

If I remember right, they kept it that name because Tom and Marl thought it sounded like some cool virus or something so they kept it.

 

I actually love the idea of getting to hear the vocals in the verses so much better, the rest of it makes me laugh though.

 

EDM is fine, but this is just a really poor remix

I don't have a Neighborhoods ranking, but all I know is that "Love is Dangerous" is atrocious. No doubt that song is wet hot garbage and their worst track by far. Tom sounds constipated during the chorus.

 

god that remix is the worst. i can't stand this music haha.

I find it funny that Mark said they had to compromise with Tom to even get it to some semblance of a rock song. Ugh. Tom wanted it to be even more electronic. Don't remember where I read that but I definitely read it.

 

The fact that the song was written by an adult is weird.
The fact that it was demoed is super weird.
The fact that it was recorded, mixed, and mastered is scary.
The fact that they actually released it is proof that Tom has lost touch and deserves all the shit that he gets.

 

I like "Love is Dangerous".

I'd say five to six songs off Dream Walker would make the top half of this list for me, which isn't saying much. The Bottom 10 songs or so are some of the worst songs Blink has ever put out imo

 

Im not mad, just disappointed.

 

I like Mark's part in the chorus, that's the only reason it's my 2nd-to-last blink song haha.

 

same, mostly for the dual vocals at the beginning and some of the harmonies. It would be a pretty good song if "I need love, love is so dangerous" was changed to something else, and sung differently
