As far as ME1 goes, I personally rather do the comic and jump into 2. Like ME1 is good but it’s definitely a slog compared to the next two gameplay wise.

 

He is easily, but at this point Mortal Kombat is one of a handful of franchises that is pretty universally known and appreciated after almost 30 years. They could get away with a Raiden cover, or a Liu Kang cover and not lost any traction.

 

Shenmue 1 & 2 is on clearance for like $8 at Target and I might go by there and pick that up and XCOM 2.

xbox one has some good clearance deals going on there. It looks like PS4 is still full price tho.

Jason's being a dick and shouldn't cause panic until the company has a solid statement to release. He just loves being the one to spread the gossip.

I would assume this wouldn't be the end of Bungie but rather an end to the relationship with Activision, no?

 

I think Bungie will leave the partnership, Activision keeps the IP, and they go make something else.

I’ve literally never heard anyone say a good thing about destiny yet I know a ton of people who play it lol

 

I mean this has been on the wall since Activision came out saying they were disappointed in sales w/ Bungie saying they weren't. Seems like there was tension with them privately that has become a bit more public.

Activision cut them loose, Bungie has a new IP in the works exclusive the Wii U. Calling it.

 

Destiny 1 and 2 had a lot of problems, but Bungie really nails first person shooting, so at least the gameplay itself is fun

The series is fine, it’s just got bogged down by the paywalls for additional content and microtransactions. Like I honestly think that’s the one big thing that’s kept it from being more popular, paying $60+ for DLC, most of which could’ve been a patch in all honesty, is bullshit. It’s why the Battlefront games ended up fizzling as well, people are not going to play your game if they have to pony up the equivalent of a new game just to keep playing their old game.

really curious on what changes will be implemented now that the chains are off. might come back to destiny now that i don't have many games to play

 

Will be interesting. I typically enjoyed what I played of the series. I had fun with a good bit of the content with some friends.

Activision can’t be used as the scapegoat anymore so hopefully Bungie delivers

 

Very interesting news. I know a lot of people actually do love Destiny but here’s to hoping that they can put out a true successor to their Halo legacy.

 

I bought the first Destiny but I never got too into it. The gameplay itself was fun enough, but it's just not my kind of game. And by the time I played it, I felt like there was already too many expansions and DLC and that I didn't even have most the game. Idk
