I really wanna look at it next time I get drunk or high (because apparently that makes you see that it's an illusion), but I know I'll probably freak out.

 

Stay What You Are is perfect. I can't believe I hated it for so long because of one song. Ugh.

 

I have to use my desk phone a lot for my job, so I have no issue answering my cell when I don't know the number, but I always automatically slip into Business Bryce mode. When I'm not at work, I tend to unplug and not have my phone on me much though, so that helps.

 

Which song? It's the only Saves the Day album I consistently return to. They're opening for Coheed here in October. May try to get tickets.

 

Freakish. MTV2 used to play the video all of the time and I hateeeeeed it.

They aren't playing here on that Coheed tour which is weird. And um.. This is a thing that happened recently.

 

The first Saves record I got was In Reverie. Going back to SWYA after that was an experience.

 

Oh man. I like that one. Don't know that I ever saw the video.

I've always wondered if a band I've seen would have this sort of breakdown. Specifically Copeland.

 

I remember when that happened and I don't blame Chris at all. Fuck people who talk over the band, especially at acoustic shows where it ruins everyone else's experience.

 

These spam emails my work email gets are beginning to freak me out.

 

AOTY contender just dropped last night and everyone should listen to YG's new album Still Brazy.

 

I sent the one about pectoral enlargements. Wasn't meant to be spam.

 

Wish it also hit Spotify. Oh well, I guess I can wait two more days!

Senses Fail has a lot more albums than I was aware of.

 

In guess me and the toilet are best friends this morning at work today.

 

I really like "The Fire" and "Pull The Thorns From Your Heart." The latter was especially interesting as Buddy lyrically described a lot of what he went through with his sexuality.

 

I stopped listening with Let it Unfold You. I thought maybe they had one or two after that. I was wrong. I don't know that I'll listen to more than even the EP today though.

I also thought Buddy didn't really write most of the lyrics? I mean, that can change, but I didn't recall him really writing any of it.

 

I still very much enjoy Still Searching.

 

Remember when liking Senses Fail was taboo on AP. I do!

 

The Fire, Renacer, and Pull the Thorns took a turn to a heavier side for them. And sped up the pace of the guitars? There's probably a specific "genre" they fall in, but they're significantly less poppy than LIEY now.

I'm not sure about their entire catalog, but he definitely did all the lyrics on PTT. Listened to his interview on Lead Singer Syndrome about it.

 

Senses Fail was one of the best sets I saw at Warped in 09. But yeah, they were very hated on AP and I was never sure why.
