President Trump says he's cutting off FEMA money for California fires

 

I hope all the speculation about him cutting a deal with prosecutors to give up the presidency to avoid prosecution is just garbage. I’d love to see him and his kids prosecuted to the full extent.

 

The combined chance of either of those happening is like 2%. the only positive outcome you can hope for is his death

 

I just don't think there is any chance he'll voluntarily resign. They'll have to drag him out of the White House.

It's wild that the Speaker of the House and Majority Leader of the Senate can just not bring bills to the floor. There should be some marginal voting threshold (40%? 35%?) where it's forced onto the agenda within a reasonable timeframe. Like a reverse filibuster.

Is it too much to ask that when Dems are asked about their "culpability" in the shut down that they just have a video of Trump saying this queued up on their phone and play it as they sit in silence and then say "Next Question"?

 

My fear of this shutdown is that the dems cave hoping that they do right by the people who aren't getting paid and this orange chicken shit stain gets his funding.
