Yeah I definitely ordered mine in the first 100 and it didn't come signed. Oh well I don't really care about signed stuff tbh so no biggie.

I went to a foxing show yesterday and it was solid but it reminded me how criminally slept on these guys are cause I think there are a lot of stylistic similarities between them

this fell off hard for me after a month or so. “birdless cage” is still a hell of a tune though

 

I've actually been coming back to this over the last week after not listening in a few months. Still one of my favorites of last year.

 

Top ten for me still

 

Still think this is the top record of the year with Palms. And I never thought I would say that in a year that Thrice put out another record, let alone a bunch of other big time bands.

 

Brian Fallon, Thrice and TROW are my top 3.

 

I think with all the musical diversity on this website few people don’t pay much attention to some awesome bands like TROW. So few of the bands on that list interest me. Years ago, I’d say 60%-40% of end of year lists were stuff I’d like. Now, maybe 15% or so.

 

I put this as my #2.

Hitchens was my #1. I adore that album.

So I guess Nathan was involved somehow in all of my top 3.

I'm really due to revisit this soon. TROW has always been a band that falls off hard for me. I either listen to them a lot in a short period of time or I don't listen to them at all for quite awhile.

Tbh this dropped off for me too. I don’t return to it nearly as much as I thought I would when it first dropped. Except for colored out, which I still think is one of the best songs of the year

 

I wonder if they had toured and stayed more active as a band if more people would have kept up with it.
