Radd, decided to be patient yesterday and order the third party GameCube adapter with all 5 star ratings on Amazon, despite it having an ETA of 7-9 days, and it now says it'll be here tomorrow. Pretty stoked, will let folks know if it was worth the buy

 

If they put FF8 on switch I’d definitely get it. 7-9 are undefeated

 

Are they doing 7? I’ve neved gotten to play it because it’s always on sony’s Systems

 

pretty sure 7, 9, 10/10-2, and 12 are all coming to switch this year

I think X/X-2 will be the remaster which I thought was pretty good, same with XII (although I didn't play it)

 

I also one day hope we see a remade Dragon Warrior Monsters/Dragon Warrior Monsters 2 for the switch.

 

unfortunately a remaster of 2 already happened on 3DS but was never brought west so odds are slim

I got my buddy to buy Okami Remaster. Absolutely amazing game from back in the day. I bet it’s even better on Switch. Anyone play it on switch?

 

There’s also a new one being developed for the switch. I bet we don’t get that either

 

man i hope so. i haven’t revisited either game in like 15 years but i remember being floored at how many monster combos were compatible for breeding and also feeling totally fucking lost in that central cloud hub thing and not being sure how to just go play the game haha.

idk how familiar you are or not but there was a Dragon Quest Monsters series subtitled “Joker” that was brought over for the DS and got decent reviews. i never played them so i’m part of the problem lol

 

I looooved the first two games on the GBC, but I too was someone who never played Joker. I wish I had. I hope that thy give these another chance in the states it has a cult following for sure

 

i mentioned this a few pages back, but if anyone wants splatoon 2 for $35 hmu. i never play it and it's just sitting there.

 

not a bad deal, but if it helps you at all, GameStop will give you $30 store credit for it towards something else

Splatoon 2 was the only save data I couldn’t bring over to my new switch since it can’t be saved to the cloud

 

Nintendo games hold crazy resale value.

I never hesitate to by Nintendo games brand new for that very reason. If I am ever in a pinch, I know I can make a good return on the investment.

 

Wtf there are games that you just cannot back up no matter what? That's outrageous imo. Wonder why?

So ridiculous. Xbox and PlayStation seem to be doing fine. Oh well, love my Switch regardless.
