Love that song.

 

That was my second time seeing them! I think that was 2001, though.

Also it's sad I was just looking at my ticket stub for this show and I only pay $30 for good seats. Last time I saw Blink at Jones Beach it cost me $100.

 

First show was Birmingham, UK in November 2004 with Sugarcult and a band Travis signed to his La Salle Records label. I’ve always searched for a bootleg of that show but no one seems to have it.

 

I woke up this morning with a need for a new Blink song. Give me that blink buzz and summer weather back. I. Am. Ready.

 

What was the exact date of that concert?

 

My biggest (blink related) regret is when I saw them (3rd time) in 2009 and got backstage passes, but ended up not going backstage because my gf at the time had just broken up with me and found out she was cheating with one of my friends and they started dating. I was just too devastated at the time to really want to even be there, but I did have a good time as the show progressed.

I went back to check my bootlegs and I unfortunately have the day after. Sorry was trying to see if I could hook you up.

 

Hopefully some interviews will start popping up soon, if the albums drops around summer (which i predict) they'll probably start promoting it in the next couple months.

 

God, im dying to get my hands on a sweet signed guitar by the band. I see them online, but they all look boring. Anyone know of someone selling one?

 

Hey if you want to be a brave soul and go back and reread the last blink thread and see when they started hyping up California that might give us a better idea as to the time frame of when announcements will start.

 

BTD was dropped on April 27. I remember because it was the day I joined chorus lol

 

I think they finished recording California around a month before BTD dropped.

I really want to know how far they are in the process. They could finish recording this week or in five months for all we know haha.

 

It seems like they’re taking their time on it, I don’t think their done yet

 

The lack of info thus far doesn't really derail my optimism for an album this summer. It seems like they had tons and tons of demos done before we even knew they had been writing last time. I don't think it was really until they were in there tracking day in and day out until we really knew it was going down, and then "Bored to Death" came out in no time.

 

It shouldnt take long, i mean Feldmann probably wrote all the songs before they entered the studio and had his Feldmann Signature Kemper Distortion Sound™ jacked up and ready to go, so its not like they had try out different sounds.

I can't wait for Mark and Matt's vocals to sound exactly like Joel Madden and Feldmann's vocals! Who's who!? I for sure can't tell the difference!

 

Wish we could get updates on that documentary Travis was gonna release on his life

 

Yeah they finished recording California sometime in March.

 

It's probably on the same hard drive as the blinkumentary

 

Oh man the blinkumentary. We really need to get Trump to get the Russians to hack into wherever that hard drive is hidden and get it leaked. For the band to not be happy with the finished product it must have tons and tons of unintentional comedy with how great the band is functioning and how everything is back to the good old days etc.

 

Off topic, but you guys should all check out the band Park, if you haven't. Their album Building A Better ____ is fantastic. Very Untitled-182-esque.

for sure! Posture's singer sounds a LOT like Tom, and there's even some guitar riffs that are very AVA/Blink/BCR ish. awesome album.
