I wonder when that Chlorine music video is going to come out?

Surprised nothing came out on New Years. Aside from 2017, they've typically released something around New Years (Ode to Sleep video, Blurryface Live special, TOPxMM)

Also it's been like 6 weeks since the last Bandito Tour highlight video

Thought this album would grow on me, just haven’t connected with it like the previous ones...

I think it holds up extremely well. Better than their last two for me.

I still listen to this album in full probably 2-3 times a week. However...I'm completely nuts. My whole trip to see them in London in March is fully booked, can't wait to see these guys again. Hoping for a couple minor changes to the set (Chlorine and The Hype PLEASE)

I always dug a song of two off their past records but never actually loved a record in full..

I love this record front to back. It’s fantastic.

Nice. Yeah I probably listen to it at least 2-3 times a week. Haha only CD in my car.

Yeah I'm definitely on the "Trench is their best album" train. Still listening to it consistently.

I wouldn’t go that far, but it’s easily better than their last two imo.

If it’s better than their last two, I’m not sure how it wouldn’t be their best album. No way self-titled (or RaB) beats Vessel, Blurryface, or Trench.

Regional at Best has always been my favorite TOP album. I like it more than Trench, but Trench may be No. 2.

I always say this, but I hardly even consider Vessel an actual album. It has 5 songs from RAB, a song from their EP and three other songs that had been online for years prior to release.

RAB has some other classics on there that don’t get much respect, I.e. kitchen sink, slowdown, ruby, lovely, etc. it’s soooo good.

That's funny because Regional at Best is the one that I don't consider an actual album.

I prefer Self-Titled to Vessels, really.

As with every band that means anything to me, it’s always just hard to say that an album out for three months is better than one I’ve sat with for years and years.

But...why not? It was released 2 years before Vessel. Maybe it’s a regional (no pun intended) thing but that’s the album that gained them tons of notoriety in Ohio.

That's true, but the band themselves don't even consider it an official album. They (and I) see it as more of a "mixtape". I didn't become a fan until Vessel, but I have a hard time listening to the RaB versions of songs that ended up on Vessel. The production quality is just so much better. The vocals on the RaB version of Trees makes me cringe.

I consider RaB a TOP album, but it’s probably my least favorite because the first versions of the Vessel tracks are marginally weaker. Especially Car Radio and Ode to Sleep. Can’t stand his vocal delivery in Car Radio.

I suppose if your intro to TOP was Vessel, then yeah, you’d prefer those versions over RAB. Admittedly, the overall production and quality of those songs are far better than RAB. But, being from the Cle area and having friends of friends of the band, I had been listening to them (and seeing them live) for years before Vessel was released so by the time Vessel was released, I was disappointed that there were only three ‘new’ songs on the album (semi-automatic, fake you out, truce). So by the time I had it, I had already known 75% of the album for 20+ months. Hell even Goner was floating around back in 2011 (with a video).

But, there are some GEMS on RAB that were never released or re-recorded like Slowtown, Kitchen Sink, Ruby, Anathema, Lovely. I also think those songs blow the ‘new’ songs off of Vessel out of the water.

    I hate spoilers. Supporter

As a very casual fan over the years who’s probably disliked more than liked their stuff, I think that Trench is a huge accomplishment. It’s the first album of theirs I love front to back.

Side note, I was at the House of Heroes The End is Not the End anniversary show last week in Columbus. They brought Josh out for God Save the Foolish Kings and it was extremely cool.

Vessel is still my favorite by a hair (Trench is close) so I don’t entirely agree that the Vessel-only songs are weaker, but all of the RaB-only songs are great. Kitchen Sink is absolutely one of their best songs.

I’m sure you know this but there is a re-recorded “Vessel version” of Lovely that was a Japanese bonus track.

Fake You Out blows all those songs out of the water, IMO

I just listened to Regional at Best for the first time. Ruby and Kitchen Sink are both awesome, but the recordings are all way worse than Vessel, and I'm pretty whatever about the other non-Vessel tracks. I don't think I'd put it above any of their major label releases.

It's insane how much their 2009 album sells for

Fake You Out, Migraine, and Semi-Automatic all top any RaB song to me with the exceptions of Kitchen Sink and Forest. I think almost every song TOP has put out is great though.
