Put nearly 300 hours into Monster Hunter World so that’d be my game of the year. I don’t play many new games though

 

Yeah I really miss it too. I’ve always loved having two. It’s especially going to feel wrong in Pokemon I think.

 

I think the only bad games I've played this gen are Mad Max and Just Cause 3. The internet makes it so easy to avoid bad games these days lol

 

I think the only games I played from this year are Spider-Man, Red Dead 2(didn’t finish) and Smash Ultimate.

I hated Mad Max but I get why people like it I guess. Different tastes.

 

Was just going to say the same thing. I think it's fun, but I wouldn't necessarily say it's good. It was very cookie cutter in some ways.

I’m gonna start Hollow Knight soon. I’m on Chp 5 of RDR2, and probably the middle of DQXI. These games are huge. I’ve been playing DQ since launch too lol. Just chipping away every chance I get.

 

I’ve mentioned before that I tend to get very bored of games easily so I played red dead redemption 2 for like an hour today and got bored.

I decided to look for a relatively “quicker” game so I’m playing the witness. This is fun.

 

Speaking of Hollow Knight, the Soul Sanctum can go fuck itself with a live grenade. Having to fight my way back to the boss every single time is making me want to toss my PS4 into traffic.

 

ok now it’s not fun and I’m upset.

 

Did you stumble into an area where you haven’t learnt new solutions yet?

I remember keeping a notebook for that game

 

I’m still mostly in the second area after the tutorial area. I’ve been hanging around the boathouse and the orchard.

I had to take some pictures when I noticed a whole row of puzzles were invisible.

 

which boss was this again?

 

The Witness is so brutal. Every puzzle I beat though made me feel like a literal genius.

 

I didn't even know what I was supposed to be solving for most puzzles. I think I got two or three light beams before I had to quit because the game made me super motion sick for some reason.

or I was thinking so hard I almost threw up, one of those.

 

Holy shit shooting pagan min right in the fucking face was the most satisfying gaming experience I’ve ever had

 

He got like two words out before I made my decision.

 

I think I let him walk lol.

 

I looked up the other endings. Pretty funny you can just not move in the first cut scene sequence and beat the game
