Are there any Wii U games any of you'd like to see ported to the Switch? The only one I'm still hoping for is Tokyo Mirage.

 

I really want every good game to be ported given the WiiU install base.

Personally I want Tokyo Mirage and Xenoblade Chronicles X, the latter because I might be able to finish it on handheld. Also, Mario 3D World or whatever the name was. Plus I want a Mario Maker, port or new.

Mario 3D World for sure, Odyssey is amazing but i might say i prefer the tighter more concise levels of 3D Land/World

i’m only interested in Mario Maker anything if it adds in-game achievements or something to work towards

 

i already blocked everyone who said they haven’t played FE

 

I don't even care, to me it's a forever game that I want to be on whatever platforms is current, just to deliver me a never ending stream of 2D Mario

 

see, we are too spoiled with an endless crop of amazing platformers for me to feel this way. i’d 100% Rayman Legends a third time before i went back to Mario Maker but it’s all preference

at the same time maybe i just had a bad run of it. the game was fun for the first three months unlocking the mystery mushroom costumes and all that but so many of the levels were so bbbbaaadddd. maybe that’s what i get for relying on the randomized modes rather than seeking out the good stuff manually

ALBW was announced in April of 2013 and released November of that year, could happen

 

They've probably been working on it for a while. I can see a holiday release for it

I just hope the next 3D Zelda has actual dungeons in it.

It’s from a pretty reliable insider over on ResetERA. He’s been pretty on point with most of his stuff.

They have an archive over there that checks and balances rumors and who is making the rumors, and he has proven to be substantially reliable.

This is the rumor archive thread, but it hasn’t completely kept up with the barrage of stuff from the past several hours. Switch Rumor Archive Rebirth (Read posting rules in OP)

 

Maybe I’ll finish BOTW by then.

 

As always, be skeptical, and plans can always change, but this particular person has a good track record which is why I believe it.

 

If 2D Zelda is still a thing, I think 2019 makes a lot of sense. As far as the time between announcement and release is concerned, they have said they want to decrease that timeframe more and more. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was a good example.

 

By the way, I picked up “Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna The Golden Country” (part of the expansion pass) and I love it so far. It’s a self-contained +- 20 hours experience. It’s more streamlined in terms of systems and has a new combat system. Really good. One of my favorites “games” this year.

 

I really want a new Strikers and Mario Baseball. Honestly would be fine with remastered gamecube versions even
