    Just a friendly reminder

You're probably right. I haven't played Sacred Stones in over 10 years so I'm kind of fuzzy on it. I remember that Ephraim's story had a ship survival mission that was frusterating as hell though.

I played through Birthright and Conquest and started Revelation, but I was kind of burned out at that point. I then intelligently bought Awakening, thinking that surely a fourth Fire Emblem game would fix my Fire Emblem burnout. I'll finished both of those someday. I really enjoyed Birthright/Conquest though and I'm SO excited for the Switch game.

I also didn’t make it through Revelation because I was burned out but it does make the whole story more interesting

Yeah, I tend to fair a little better with the right joycon because it gives my joystick thumb a place to rest, but yeah I feel my hands begin to cramp up after a few rounds of Mario Kart - especially when I hold down the R and L triggers constantly throughout.

My girlfriend refuses to play with me unless it's Mario Kart on the Wii because the joycons are too uncomfortable for her and I wouldn't say she has large hands anyways :P

My girlfriend too prefers Mario Kart on Wii because of the automatic drifting mode and the nunchuck/wiimote combination. I don’t know why they didn’t bring the automatic drifting back.

Because drifting is so much fun in manual mode I'm guessing :D lol.

Never been a fan of playing with the wiimote, but I always race with a GameCube controller and I so wish those controllers worked with anything other than Smash on the Switch :/

Yeah but she’s terrible at pressing several buttons at once etc. some people just can’t wrap their head around it, and the automatic drifting really helped

I would like to see the 3DS slowly peter out into non-existence. They could solve the whole "the 3DS is for kids who aren't ready for their own Switch" by making different tiers of the Switch. A cheap, small and portable one for kids, the one they have now and then an upgraded one with better battery life, storage, etc. I'm fairly certain they won't do that, but with how many different versions of the DS and 3DS they've had I suppose anything is possible.

Also the only 2D Zelda games I've really enjoyed as much as any of the 3D games are The Minish Cap and A Link To The Past. I feel like MC really flew under the radar and I would love to see a re-release of that.

Seems like 3DS games are always on sale now and their presence has shrunk in all the stores from what I’ve seen. I know they say they plan to keep it around but I find that harder and harder to believe

I'd love like a 3DS adapter for the Switch so I could play all those games on there.

rolled credits on the messenger tonight finally. having the pro controller certainly made some of the trickier platforming easy. could have done with this during Celeste :D

also, I too have never played a Fire Emblem game

Thankfully not playing a Fire Emblem game isn't like not playing a Zelda or Mario Game. If you hadn't played either of those we'd have to take away your gamer badge.

The problem with phasing out the 3DS is is that it is way too successful. It even sold better in 2018 than the year before it. Combine that with how cheap it is to make them now, and killing it jut wouldn’t be smart I think. It’s not like these few games they are making are taking away significant Switch resources, that’s not really how it works.
