I would pass on Cincy too

guys passing on Cincy/Arizona, who I said were the 2 worst jobs

I had no idea Chris Carson ran for over a thousand yards this season.

 

Hope he runs for over a thousand on dem boys this weekend

 

i only knew because of my fantasy team.

what i didn't have any idea about was that gregg williams orchestrated bounty gate way back when. that's awesome, and now i definitely want him to be the browns head coach in perpetuity.

Bengals are def the least attractive job. People know what it is. It isn’t the players, and it wasn’t the coach (well kind of the coach)

All you need to do is look at the team since Mike Brown took it over

 

It's like, what do you do with them? They have legitimate franchise pieces but they're still missing just enough to where they can't make a run but they're franchise pieces are just old enough to justify blowing it up.

 

I don't think Andy Dalton is the answer either though.

 

Like, that's the point. They're too far along to rebuild in any reasonable coaching lifetime and they're not far enough along to actually be good. At least the Cardinals job is starting from the bottom. It's good to be good and it's good to be really bad. Mediocrity is a poison pill.

 

Imo Dalton is like THE median NFL quarterback. He isn’t above average, he isn’t below average. He isn’t good, but he isn’t bad either! He is the line. Lol

 

That Bengals team could be good as soon as next year if they play their cards right

... or they could hire Hue and “accidentally” start the rebuild instead

 

Everybody in the AFC North has a pretty legit shot at 8-8 next year lol

AJ Green is obviously a stud but he is 31 this summer and is oft injured
Mixon is good but we know how RBs are easily replaced
their defense for the most part is turd city

 

Yeah they've got Dalton, Green, Glenn, Lawson, Dunlap, Atkins, WJax. Plus they had a great draft this year. Hubbard, Bates, Price, and Malik are all good pick-ups.

 

Dalton/Mixon/Green/Boyd is not a bad group of players at all

And they’ve got some good pieces on D like Atkins and Bates

They’re not elite but there’s definitely enough there that you could supplement a good team with a good draft and a couple FA pieces

 

The Cincinnati Bengals are the Andy Dalton of NFL teams.

 

Also, I would take Marvin Lewis as my DC yesterday
