Don’t even care that you guys are in the AFC. I would be a Browns fan at all times except when they played the Jags.

 

Still #2 overall. As a Jags fan I am more scared of Hopkins than Brown, but any team without Jalen Ramsey should be terrified of Brown. Some teams can’t even stop him if they double cover him.

If Brown goes to a shitty team with a shitty QB and can’t keep putting up big numbers then we’ll talk. But right now he has had 6 STRAIGHT SEASONS of 1000+ yards and 9+ touchdowns (with 4 of those years 1500+ yards and 12+ TD). Those are insane numbers. The crown is his until he takes it off and has a bad year or two.

Not to mention, he has shown he can throw passes, get YAC on screens, and return punts better than Deandre Hopkins. He can be used as a gadget in so many ways in addition to his prowess as a traditional WR, and has scored multiple touchdowns doing all those things. I think Brown is not only an elite receiver, but an elite ball carrier as well, you can just give him the ball the easy way and he’ll do all the work after the catch.

Hopkins is matchup proof and bad-QB proof and those are good arguments to say he’s #1, but idk, I think the versatility Brown has gives him the edge.

 

There is a zero percent chance that the Steelers would trade Brown/Bell within the division, let alone the Browns. Also, I think Chubb is going to be an absolute beast so no thanks on primadonna Bell.

 

I’m still very down to trade Fournette and that 3rd & 5th that we got from Fowler, for AB. whassup bitches.

Signing Yeldon instead of Fournette, cutting Marqise Lee for Brown, and cutting Parnell when we draft Jonah Williams would make that a lateral move cost wise that also greatly improves our offense.

The ONLY reason I’d be willing to move forward with Yeldon is because he’s such a great receiver and blocker. In terms of running the ball Fournette is miles ahead. And fuck whoever wants to say “3 point whatever yards per carry” the dude converted more third downs and helped us score more TD than most of your RBs would have in our shitty offense

 

Just to be clear, if we are talking about Fournette being gone cause of week 17, Yeldon, who was active, is 100 percent gone haha

 

That might be fair, Ramsey being young and on a rookie deal offsets Brown pretty much already having his Hall Of Fame case

Honestly vets getting forced out due to discord on the team get lowballed a lot and that’s why I’m saying that bullshit. It’s almost a joke to me but I could still see the Steelers trading him for a weak offer compared to what he’s worth

 

I was thinking about that earlier actually and honestly... I’d be 100% in on this

 

I know it's not to the same extreme level but Khalil Mack was basically asking for his way out too right? And his haul was massive (as it should have been?).

 

If they were the same age I’d do it. The age gap makes me want to keep Ramsey, who JUST turned 24.

Ramsey could quite legitimately have 11-13 more dominant years ahead of him. And he can cover anybody including Brown. No way do I trade a rising star for a 30 year old guy who might owe a lot to his chemistry with Roethlisberger and might start losing his speed real soon.
