Shield surfing is a cool touch.

 

A few of your posts stringed together make it feel a lot like it.

-Weapons that break
-tons to do to distract you. "Oh look, a dungeon!"
-open ended worlds
-changing weather
-fusing weapons

Really hope they don't limit how much you can carry.

 

There's definitely similarities, there's influence from more recent rpgs like Elder Scrolls or Witcher or Dark Souls but it still seems very much Zelda.

 

You can use a skeleton arm as a weapon. Nice.

 

Oh yeah, no doubt. Hopefully Nintendo gives me more reason than just this to buy the NX.

I can understand them not wanting to make Zelda the main character, but why they can't just include like Linkle as an alternative doesn't make sense to me.

 

That's so goddamn stupid, especially considering they already kind of explored this in Skyward Sword where both Link and Zelda basically went on the same adventure. There's no reason why they couldn't do some type of shit where you intermittently alternate between each storyline.

 

I wanted a female main character, not going to lie there but I would have been OK without one. That reasoning has completely turned me off getting the game though. Ugh. Put such a bad taste in my mouth.

 

Digging these mini dungeons just being placed around.

 

Honestly I don't see how it changes lore/the game that much if they would just have an option to be a female Link. I don't even think having Linkle be the protagonist is necessary if you could be a female Link.

 

I missed the last 15 minutes. What the fuck are spirit orbs?
