I hope Nick Senzel balls out next year for the Reds

  4. Reds will be a fun team but they still need some better pitching, no?

Yeah, they still need better pitching. Hopefully they use money for that.

I can't believe their 2nd best starter was Matt Harvey.

That's cool, man. I don't spend the day lurking fangraphs so I haven't seen their newest wins prediction.

in this OOTP historical replay I'm doing (just simming from 1900 onwards, letting the simulation do its thing), Pittsburgh has had a ridiculous run of good fortune with generational outfielders:

Ted Williams (1936-1954) played great defense in center and hit like crazy - 131.5 WAR
Mickey Mantle (1953-1974) hit better than Ted, all time home run leader with 726 - 132.6 WAR
Rickey Henderson (1976-1992), where I'm at with the sim currently) has done Rickey things, stealing a ton but overall worse than real life Rickey - ~90 WAR

16 MVPs, 12 gold gloves, 35 all star appearances between them

    5 championships during that span

Also, if anyone wants to know what any players/teams did up until 1992, let me know. I love running historical replays and seeing how things shake out

I'd be interested to see how bad the Rangers were through 1992.

Things start to get better from there so that seems like a good starting/ending point

Manny to NYY is pretty fun

I'm sorry but I still don't really want him if it means the end of Andujar or even possibly Didi (though I admit that's a stretch)

  17. Move Andujar to first. Manny to third. Problem solved.

Yeah this is only a problem if they were an NL team with no DH. And let's not forget how injuries have really gotten them last two years. Zero reason to get rid of his bat.

    is this a dream? ✫・゜

Andujar isn't going anywhere. Machado will be a Yankee soon and Didi is a free agent after this season which hes going to miss most of it so.

I assume Machado isn’t going there???

  24. Most reports I’ve seen have said it’s basically done.

  25. it's highly unlikely Tulo stays healthy and/or productive enough to be a consistent starter - he's more of utility player these days
