It feels like Zelda has finally started to catch up to modern rpgs and that's a brilliant thing.

 

I just hope the main gameplay is still dungeons and towns and stuff, really don't want it to be Skyrim or Witcher style quests and shit. I'm not too worried about that though since I doubt that's how they'll do it.

 

the problem with that mechanic is that then it turns into the "horde all my potions problem just encase a bigger, scarier monster comes along later"

I hope they just are super generous with weapon drops. That way you don't lock yourself into one weapon type throughout the game, and have to learn about how to effectively use all the different weapon types. But resource starvation isn't a problem.

 

I love that you can use an axe in Zelda, haha.

 

I just hope there are a lot of dungeons packed with puzzles. I'm not a big fan of exploring big open worlds in video games.

Yeah lack of anything resembling a dungeon isn't good

 

did that monster just run over to pick its club up? If so that is a super cool mechanic. Especially if it enables a playstyle where you sneak up on monsters and try to catch them completely unaware.

 

That could work too but I feel like theyre probably going to have the Master Sword in there somewhere and I can't see that just breaking unless it's something you can repair.

 

I think the trailer hinted at some and Miyamoto said something about a dungeon being nearby during the game awards thing so I feel like they'll be here.

 

I have this sinking feeling that there won't be enough loot or armour

Not sure, didn't check link since I owned it...maybe 5.99 with Plus? The game is a lot of fun, I personally haven't finished it but it's on my PS4 revolving playlist. I bought it for $9.99 and thought that was a great price.

 

I'm not even a big fan of open world games but I want to explore the shit out of this.

 

Elemental ore! Guessing you might be able to infuse weapons and shit like that.

Love the climb mechanic.

So cool seeing a group of enemies with one strong guy at the back.

Gotta warm up for those snowy mountains.
